doctor, doctor, I feel like a pair of curtains! Pull yourself together then

What do you call a Frenchman wearing sandals? Felipe felop!

I too should probably resign from this thread, I had to google Schadenfreude, I'm obviously not well read or intellectual enough!!!! But on the other hand it's an expression that does fit me too!

Even with two broken legs for calling me a towel? I may be a bit of a nerd but I still have feelings :-(
-
For your information my friend, the zombie apocalypse has just started and you aint gonna make it :-)
-
Excellent - lol. I've always liked to use a severed limb as a sword, I tend to find the other parents allow me to park where I like on the school run!

Cool and geeky at the same time - I think I will go and make myself a cup of tea and think about that

One for Julie - bet you wish it was a shorter journey to the UK now http://www.hitchhikerslive.com/ And of course we should be celebrating towel day today http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Towel_Day

Family D&D is cool and definitely up there for nerdiness qualification - how's it work with sibling rivalry or is that not an issue for your family?

Welcome aboard. I am sorry though, before we can let you in, you must confirm your credentials for nerdiness. Unless you are a telephone sanitiser in which case membership is assured.

Second that and add to all of that an unabiding passion for Douglas Adams. Will have to google Ross Whedon though, never heard of the fellow

Something prompted you to post on a fun. light-hearted thread that pokes fun at parts of our nature, likes and hobbies that we enjoy but are often seen as outside what is considered mainstream or cool. I suppose it highlights that actually none of us entirely mainstream and none of us is entirely a nerd. I'm not entirely…

I LOVE YOU! ;-)
-
I second that too, at least that is what I keep telling my wife!
-
Ok so on the Douglas Adams front did you read the Dirk Gently books and the meaning of Liff? What about the audio series of HHGTG? Lets test your credentials?
-
I second that on nerd grounds and because Julie will look a hellovalot hotter in a bikini than you, sorry fella

Sorry, my son has a full set of sonic screwdrivers, two of the doctors and also the masters!

Ok, I've read through the whole thread which is surely a sign of nerdiness. Whilst there are lots of people with IT nerdiness (which has to be admired), there are far too many of them for anyone to stand out as the hottest. I therefore feel I must qualify (at least for consideration) because I am English and what's more I…

I started judo at about 5. My instructor was a Royal Marines Commando. You just didn't muck about, well not more than once! That aspect has a lot to do with the sensei and the parents reinforcing the sensei. We started my son in karate at about 4. Before that he did tumble tots. At those ages it is about activity that…

NYC in a couple of weeks and cannot wait!!!!! Hotel has a gym and I'm determined to use it. Lot's of walking will also be done and whilst I will be less careful I intend to burn a lot more off and at least opt for some healthier options. Alcohol might be the stumbling block, a few cocktails, beers and bottles of wine will…

one to try with the kids - thanks!

False, I don't know who or what Cesar Milan is so there is a really high chance I don't adore him/it. TNP woke up in a foul mood today

If your uterus does fall out, please make an urgent appointment with a surgeon. For a small fee he/she can turn it into a penis that will look much more appropriate with the muscle on muscle look you will soon have

Absolutely inspirational - thanks for sharing

It loves you and the matching briefs are by far the sexier - they really suit your figure (hot) and your ink (which rocks). Excellent choice! After 2 kids and major surgery my wife battles with the bikini question every year so I know where you are at! Go with it and wear it with confidence because you can and should!

4 - all day long and you look really good in it

The only reliable to do it is by weight. I checked a couple of resuls on MFP and also tried another website I use. Both sets of results come out at about 0.75calories per gram

I've always believed things like green tea and chilli can boost metabolism. Like them both so they are in my diet anyway, but at least I can now stop sprinkling chilli on my cereal  Seriously, though, thanks for the posts, they make sense and help people make the right choices, love MFP and it's members for that!

I had a load of wake up calls - but I just kept pressing the snooze button until I could not ignore them anymore: * sky high blood pressure * a pic of me at the barbecue on hols * worsening asthma and health * my 10 year old daughter beating me in a race * another pic of me even bigger than the last one, standing in the…

Our son went through a phase of fussiness when foods he had had before he suddenly didn't like. We became adept at hiding certain foods, especially vegetables! With milk I would try hot chocolate, omelettes, home made ice cream, custard, rice pudding, soups (chowders), gratin or piped potato........ Going to go now before…
