It is an entirely personal thing and if it helps you then drink it. I try to drink squash if I want a cold drink as I am getting water into my system at the same time. The calories you are given is the amount you need to eat to lose the weight goal you set at the beginning each week. e.g. my 1250 is what I need to eat everyday in order to lose 1 pound a week which is what my goal is. If I do exercise and don't eat the calories for that value then I am not eating enough to fuel the body…

I agree that not being able to see the forums on my mobile phone is probably one of the reasons I was so easily sidetracked as I had to be near a computer and logged on to speak with my buddies. I have decided that this year I will not be sidetracked and I will log on at least a couple of times a week.

Thanks I find the sugars most confusing and as diabetes runs in the family this is the area I am trying to focus on as prevention is better than treatment. K x

:tongue: Finding it really hard to eat enough but stay below sugar levels. Could do with better sugar intake listed and better vitamins i.e. vits B, folic acid and starch are missing yet are listed on the packets.....
