I'm 36 - anyone is welcome to add me!

My daughter is 14 months and currently breastfeeds twice a day, when she wakes up in the morning and when I get home from work. It's still comfort/bonding for her and I'm not going to rush her to fully wean. I did find that once I stopped feeding her in the night, and when I stopped pumping while at work, those two changes…

Yes, I lost weight in the spring on mfp while breastfeeding. I often wasn't quite meeting my calorie goals, but the calorie goals didn't account for breastfeeding calories so I still gradually lost some weight. I slacked off on mfp but the weight still stayed off for a few months. Now my daughter is mostly weaned, though,…

I started at 6 months because that was my pediatrician's recommendation. But my daughter was definitely showing interest when she was 5 months.

I don't like to cook either. There's good advice on here about easy stuff you could cook but - even if you don't cook at all there are ways you could make incremental changes that would help. One thing I started doing is to have a bowl of soup (just microwaved) or an apple or banana 20 minutes before eating a meal. This is…

still on track with this challenge - my kids think it's hilarious watching me do these. I can feel the soreness starting to go away, making progress!

This is for Saturday March 8th - Week 1: 158 Week 2: 160 Week 3: 157 Back on track :) Not always making the calorie goals and I'd like to up the exercise but I do feel like by tracking I'm eating a lot fewer calories than I would have been normally.

Starting weight a week ago was 158. This week is160. I am discouraged not to see positive progress but I had a few days I went over calories. This week I will try to increase exercise and decrease cheat days.

With my first it was all off in 4 months just from breastfeeding and walking, not even watching what I ate much. This time my daughter is 7 months and I still have 10 lbs to go.

I will do this challenge too. Thanks for organizing!

This is my first week here as well. I'm currently at 158. I had been losing baby weight very gradually since last summer (more like half a pound a week) but I've been stuck in the 158-160 range for several months now so I'm trying to get back to moving in the right direction.

Hello Sarah, I am also newly back to MFP, I have a 7 month old. When did you have your baby? I have heard that in the first 3 months while you're still establishing your milk supply, you should have 2000 calories because otherwise it may lead to reduced milk supply. After that 1700-1800 would be okay. The main thing is not…

Thanks all!! Scoutli, my husband and I work opposite shifts too with no childcare. Chaos is exactly the word for it. But happy chaos :)

It is really brave of you to put all that into words. You can do this!!!

Hi, I'm in! Great idea!

I would suggest quinoa. It is kind of similar to rice or couscous but has a much higher protein content, so it fills you up a lot. You could put the same sauce on it that you're making for your family for the pasta.

Dear 60 to lose, First of all you are NOT worthless. It is an awful feeling when you feel that way. I think it would be a good idea for you to speak with a counselor or therapist. Especially if you're keeping up a happy front to your parents. You need support from someone and sometimes it is easier to have it be a…

Hi I am 32 and the working mom of a toddler. I joined this site a few months ago and it was really helping when I was logging in consistently for a few weeks - but I got stressed/distracted and stopped doing it. I want to try again and am definitely looking for support/community too, to stick with it this time around.
