  • Try with just a tiny bit of olive oil, then use chicken or beef broth. Just a little. I find that gives me full flavor with just a little bit of fat .

  • Oh, those last few pounds are so hard to loose. I have 1.5 pounds to go. I am 5'6" tall and am at 131.5. I want to be 130 lbs, but that last little bit. SO HARD!!! I'm still at 1200 calories and think I will be on that for the rest of my life. I know it's this winter food. Lettuce is so expensive right now, but that's what…
  • Have you thought of checking the papers or Craigs List for a good used one. Many people are not using these items anymore and would love to sell them. You can always research the brand on-line to see if its a good one
  • Yuck! I pray your son made it work safely. Remember, each day brings us closer to spring. Treat yourself to a good book today.
  • you look fabulous. congrats.

  • I always add some celery, carrots and onions, a tiny bit of rice as well. I always make tiny meatballs, no more then 1' in diameter. I do boil them separtely and drain so I don't get any of the fat from the hamburger. The meatballs is what makes the soup. I also use pure chicken broth from the tetra packs. Very low in…
  • I'm 5ft 6'' and started off at 171 lbs. on April 22. I now weight 132. Those last 3 are killers to get off. I plan to be 130 by the 22nd of Dec. So it came off slow and steady. I'm also 61 yrs old and it is harder to loose weight when you're older. Good luck to you. You will do it. Merry Christmas
  • You are so awesome and right on,. Congratulations, you rock
  • Yeah and more. Sleep is such a drag. As you get older, it sucks trying to sleep at night. I make myself get up early as well just so I don't get to much sleep, but 4-5 hrs. nightly sucks big time. Sometimes no sleep and amazingly I am wide awake the next day.
  • Every single morning, first thing, with nothing on. That way I can control my weight much better. I think gaining can get away on a person and after all this hard work of losing, I will do everything in my power to keep it off and if that means getting on the scale god everymorning, so be it.
  • Count me in. I'm the worst night time grazer in the world. I'm fine all day, but night time.......... Cut off time is 9PM as I am a late night person. Thanks for asking.....

  • Love peanut butter and have just found the most fab recipe for pb cookies and so darn easy. 1 c chunky pb, 1/2 c sugar 1 egg. Beat the sugar and egg together, mix in the pb. Bake at 325 for 15 min. makes 24 cookies. so good, so bad for you. Made some for my family and just had to eat 2 little ones. Bad Me :( Toss the stuff…
  • A great big CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
  • I would highly recommend you log in what you are going to eat BEFORE you eat it. Sometimes it's a shock to see how many calories are in something. Then you can adjust it before it hits your mouth. Never give up. Thank goodness for second and more chances.
  • Love my crock pot, especially for stews. A little hint, never add water to the stew, always add beef broth. I usually use Campbells. Adds so much flavor.
  • Been on thyroid meds for years and years. Annual bloodtests keep that all under control. Thank you so much for the input. I am going to try some of the suggestions and hopefully that will work. I appreciate the input

  • Toss it Out!!! Toss it Out!!! Flush it down the toilet. Get rid of it. You will be so proud of yourself.
  • Yummy!!! Just as long as you count it into your daily food intake. I also give myself a treat like that once in awhile and count it in.. A calorie is a calorie is a calorie
  • That is most awesome. Congratulations. Doesn't it feel great to have success. A huge accomplishment. I also am feeling on top of the world this morning. Just 3 more lbs and I've reached my goal. You keep on, each day brings you closer to you goal.
  • I hated going to stores and hating every thing I tried on. Also for health reason. I'm 61 years old and retired at the beginning of the year. One of my goals was to lose weight and live a healthier life style. Yes, goals even though retired. I start in April and have 5 more pounds to go. My goodness, I discovered I still…

  • I wish they had a place where you could log in a recipe and portion size and it would give you all the information on the portion size, eg cal, sodium, etc. I find it frustrating logging it all in, then cutting each to portion size.
  • toss it out of the house
  • This sounds so yummy and easy to make. My kind of stuff
  • I also weight myself every single day. I find it is easier for me to control myself and my eating. I will continue to weigh myself everyday even though I count Wed. as my date to see if I have any weight loss. Wed. is my goal date.
  • hi Vancouverite, I'm just down the road from you in Maple Ridge. We have the best climate in the world. Yes, even when it rains.
  • Sounds divine. How many calories??
  • Wow, she must be so threatened by you. You must have a gorgeous face and she is turning green with envy. Just walk away love, some people never have anything nice to say about or to anyone else, because their confindence level is so low. You just kill her with kindness and trust me, it will work on her and soon she will…
  • I haven't tried it, but have been looking for , but can't find it yet in Canada. The postage is outrageous to get it on line. I understand it is only 40 cal per serving as well. Thank you for letting me know you can get it in Walmart, as I am going stateside next month and will look for it.
