5 days a week. 3 on 1 off, 2 on 1 off. I am going to start running a few miles the other days. I just got over shin splints so it's been awhile.

Squats, lunges, push ups, sit ups, burbies, high reps. You'll get your heart rate up real fast! Have a great vacation!! : )

Just doing 90 burpees as part of my WOD today (30 per round/3 rounds total) almost killed me! The most I had ever done before was 50. I don't know if I would do the burpee option after today. Nicely done!!!

I started because my nephew, who had recently started working out and lost 60lbs, has friends that do crossfit. We got my other nephew to join us and it's been great! We're all hooked and push each other to make it to workouts and do our best. : )

3 rounds for time 400m run 30 burpees 20 chest to bar (I did ring pulls) 24:21 This was not at all okay........

Thank you all for your advice and for sharing your stories. I'm thinking that I may take some time after WOD's to practice my back squats, even if it's only 5-10 each time. As you know, it may takes weeks to see the same move/lift/WOD again. I will push myself, but in a smart way. Thanks for the inspiration!! :smile:

Thanks Boston! My coach said the same thing, but my fear of hurting myself got the best of me. I'm still kicking myself for not trying harder... I think that I will continue to practice that particular lift after my next few classes just to get the feel for it. It may be a couple of weeks before it's in a WOD again. Thanks…

Very cool! It's funny that you posted this because I'm in my second week of crossfit and this was part of my WOD today. I could not get my squat deep enough and I was SO frustrated. I kept my weight very light and kept practicing, but this has inspired my to keep working at it so that I too can feel this good about it!!…

Pissing myself during every workout would be the only deterrent for me doing crossfit. I just need to get baggier pants and thicker pads.... I will not blame being out of shape on having kids, but I will blame my stress incontinence on them. ;o)

My WOD was 4 rounds of 25 wall balls, 50 double unders for time. This is only my second week so I used the 10lb ball and did 100 regular jumps. I let the expletives fly when I was done. I just joined my local crossfit gym and love it!!! I feel like I have more results after two weeks of xfit as opposed to months of a weight training program I was doing at the Y, on my own. The coaches are ridiculously supportive, as are the other xfitters. If my form is not right for a lift, I have to keep practicing…
