I am sure it's different for everyone, but warmer temperatures always cause my feet and hands to swell. I don't know why, but it always has. I use to have to take diuretics during the summer.

A good friend of mine was diagnosed as diabetic and put on metformin. He immediately went on a diet and started walking every day. Within two months he had lost 25 pounds and the doctor let him stop the meds as long as he kept the sugar down. He still walks almost every day. He has kept the weight off and has not had to go…

It's been working well for you, so don't do anything for at least 2 more weeks. If no change then, start tweaking things. IMHO.

I'm in. It was kind of late when I came across the thread. Kitchen sink and baseboards done, will do front and back door glass tomorrow. Could I suggest cleaning/polishing the legs of the dining table. The top gets cleaned regularly, but somehow I never get around to doing the legs.

I did it cold turkey. I think I have had one in the last year. I didn't have any headaches because I was still getting caffeine from unsweetened tea. I won't lie, I still miss them, but I firmly believe they are bad for you.

It is much better to make a lifestyle change and shoot for a pound a week. You can lose it faster, but will be much more likely to fall off the wagon and/or binge it. Losing a pound a week and toning with exercise will bring visible results very quickly. Good luck to you.

SW 209 LW 195 CW 194.5 I am happy with 1/2 pound loss, because I over did it last weekend. I worked hard Monday and Tuesday just trying to maintain for the week, so I was thrilled to actually lose. good luck to everyone.

Mean spirited people like that will always find something to comment on. If it wasn't your height, it would be something else. Usually, it is an attempt to make themselves feel better at your expense. Just feel sorry for them and ignore them.

I had already responded that I am Baptist. I just wanted to add that I have enjoyed this thread very much. I hope it continues.

You will become more comfortable with your height as you get older. I think at 185 you would be awesome. Someone told me once that the tallest woman in the room will get noticed first, she just needs to be able to keep the attention. You look like someone who could keep the attention. Maybe you have a little post partum…

Baptist. My life is so much better with Jesus in it.

sw 209 lw 206 cw 205 It seems no matter what I do, its one pound a week. But I know that is still progress. Good luck to everyone this week.

I gained. It was the unlimited free ice cream that did me in. But it is a vacation, enjoy.... just try not to go too crazy.
-
I think you sound like you have a plan that is working for you. It's just my unprofessional opinion but I think you are doing fantastic. If you begin to feel weak or constant hunger or your weight loss stalls, then please do increase your calories. As far as exercise, just start slow. If nothing else, just walk up and down…
-
Congratulations, I am very happy for you.

You did better than I did on my cruise. Unlimited free icecream was my undoing. Congratulations.
-
That is amazing progress. Continue on your journey.
-
Congratulations. You took control of your destiny. You look great.

Take care of yourself. Even if you gain, you can address that when you are well.
-
Don't give up. Just tweak something. Sometimes any little change will shake things up.

SW 209 LW 197 cw 196 Our numbers seem to be dwindling... hang in there everyone. We can do this!

Isn't it amazing how slowly it comes off, but how quickly it goes back on. You have a good attitude.
-
You look fantastic. Congratulations.

I like her. She is "get serious or get out". I don't think I could ever train with her, but I like her.
