I get the fajitas and I only eat the meat and veggies. No rice and no tortillas. It was the best option that I found and yummy.

I made this mistake last year. I lost 25 pounds for a beach vacation... problem was that I started eating on vacation and didn't quit... so I regained all the weight over the winter. So this year I had to lose the same weight all over again. But this time I didn't set vacation as my goal. I know its just a mind thing, but…

Most definitely. I don't weigh if I can't see my ankle bones or my rings are too tight.

OK, so I weighed in. I am back to where I was before vacation. so current weight is 184. Goal weight is 169

Thanks. I will look for the 303.

well Mr Detailer... perhaps you would be so kind as to tell me what is good to put on the hoses in the engine to make them look nice without being over glossy. We are going to a cruise in this weekend and have to get the car looking spiffy,

chicken noodle soup... old wives tale that does work.. and lots and lots of water.

Don't trust a scale in a store that is wanting to sell you something to help you lose weight. I put your numbers into some calculators and you were just barely in the overweight category.... not even close to obese. You look lovely. If you want to lose a few pounds and tone up a little, that's great.... but you look fine.

Kentucky also... They are all coke. Then if someone wants one you ask what kind.

I'm so glad it didn't take another stroke or a heart attack to get you back on the healthy path. Hang in there, and I wish you the best of luck.

This is a great site and you will find lots of help along the way. No one can do it for you. Just set small reasonable goals and don't cut your calories back so far that your system gets stressed out. A smaller deficit may mean slower weight loss, but it will be easier to stick to it and will show great results in the end.…

I was on vacation this week and I fell off the wagon hard. I know I gained, I just don't know how much. I am not getting near a scale for at least another week. Oh well, I just hope that I can get back on the program. One week won't ruin me, If I can keep one week from turning into two, then three and on and on.

I don't really do the slimfast plan, but I do have slimfast almost every weekday for lunch. I have an apple about 11:30 and a slimfast between 12 and 12:30 and I do just fine until supper. Even when not dieting, I will have them for a quick lunch if I am in a hurry. I actually like the taste of the milk chocolate.

My motivation was my doctor quizzing me to make sure I knew the signs and symptoms of a heart attack. Yikes! I decided to do this the right way. I don't do anything that I know I cannot continue for the long term. I don't go to a gym. I walk at least 30 min a day. I bought some hand weights at a garage sale and use those…

SW 209 LW 185.5 CW 184 I am on vacation next week, so may not get a chance to post. If I can just maintain next week, I will be THRILLED. Good luck to everyone.

Oh, I hate to hear that. I am on vacation next week and expecting the same kind of thing. Glad you are back on track.

I am 56. I have lost 26 pounds with 15 more to go. Send me a friend request if you like. Good luck to you.

grilled chicken is the answer for me. Most fast food places have grilled chicken sandwich and side salad. Most restaurants will have a grilled chicken entrée. At tumbleweed last week, I got grilled chicken, baked sweet potato, and the grilled vegetables. The only hard part was not eating the free chips and salsa.

You aren't in a plateau. A lot of that 7 pounds was water and your body is still adjusting. So you lost 7 pounds in 5 weeks.... fantastic. If you go 2 months and not lose, then you can talk plateau. Good luck to you.

1200 does not sound like a good idea. So many people start out at 1200 and then have to bump it up either because they are starving all the time or because their weight loss stalls out. I started out with 1200 and lost a pound a week, but I was hungry all the time. After reading a ton of posts, I bumped it up to 1500. I…

I was talking to a Registered Dietitian and I asked her this question. She said that if you are hungry, then you should listen to your body and eat them back. If you aren't hungry, then don't. Makes sense that we should listen to what our body is trying to tell us.

fantastic progress

Wendy's grilled chicken sandwich and a small chili... 600 calories

eating 1200 cals and exercising every day..... not enough fuel. That's like expecting a pick up truck to get 50 miles per gallon.

SW 209 LW 185.5 CW 185.5 No loss this week, but I probably didn't deserve to. I ate out 3 times over the weekend and one of those was a breakfast buffet that included biscuits and gravy and a pancake. Oh, well... I will try to do better this weekend.

It may sound strange, but you need to forgive them in order to put this in the past. Whether you tell them or not doesn't matter. But in your heart and mind forgive them. Then you will be able to move forward with your amazing life. It is for your benefit, not theirs. You deserve to be happy.

I am 56 and half way to my goal of losing 40 pounds. If you are eating at least your BMR, you can send me a friend request. Good luck.

Try to get a grip. I lost 22 pounds last year, went on vacation, started eating and didn't quit until I had gained back almost 20 of it. So this year I had to lose the same weight all over again. I was soooo mad at myself. Finally I am in new territory.

Fantastic progress. Congratulations.

Looks pretty good to me. Have you tried almond milk for your smoothies?
