my elliptical is the same way, MFP says less than the machine. my elliptical workout has good intensity but i go by what MFP says only because the calorie counts change with your weight.

don't give up!!! you will break through the plateau! think of how frustrated you will feel when you put the weight back on that you just lost! try less carbs and more protein for a couple of days. i hope you stick with it!

are you lactose intolerant? i think most protein drinks are derived from dairy which maybe why you are cramping. try to find a protein mix not derived from dairy. i think arbonne has a pea protein mix so it doesn't give you gas. hope it helps
