I started trying to lose weight like four years ago and got down 3 stone to 12st, but then i forgot about it and went up to 13st again. then last april i found this website and got down to 11st 6 and found that my goals weren't thinness they were sort of toned muscle orientated so i…
  • I had 3 weeks abstinance from doing anything good. I drank beer I ate chips and curry sauce every day and it was fantastic. Well i wasn't that bad but back in the swing again and another year older. Just got back into logging my food. I am shocked and appaled, Its way to easy to think you know what you are eating rather…
  • thank god for that. I'm eating my body weight in grams of protein a day lol. no way of building muscle without it.
  • hey. I read stuff about fibre once too. All i know is that if you eat a lot you have to drink a lot of water to flush it through your system otherwise things get "stuck" if you know what i mean. I have never implimented a high fibre diet but when i have had days with lots and days with out i notice. Wholewheats bread pasta…

Enjoying it lots and learning lots about different muscle groups and eating right. Both of which are confusing. Currently trying to keep to my high protien low carb cutting fat sort of stage. started going out…

  • Its so good to hear people talking about Tescos and normal foods instead of Walmart and stuff. I never understand what some of the Americans are eating lol. There is definitely an influx of newbs here, its all good. Everyone has high plans for the new year which is ace. My first week of P90X is going well. 4 days down 86…

  • At least 180grams a day to maintain, and heavy weights with low reps 6-8 failure will promote size 10-12 reps is more for tone (I think). Protein should be spread across the day and eaten with every meal. I find it extremely difficult to do. I take it you meant building bigger muscles? Also you can't get bigger without a…
  • Higher protein and lower carb not in a fad way but play with your ratios. I'm noting this because I'm about to start fat shedding phase of p90x and my ratios are 50pro 30carb 20fat not that I can comment from experience but other members could clarify. I've seen a lot of studies that verify higher protein and resistance…

  • exactly how I picture it lol. I find it the same. It's getting cold now so I'm binging a bit then going healthy again I have maintained a similar weight +/- 1 or 2 pounds for a month now without using the record diary. It's great because if you shoot up 2 pound you canter them straight back off. I'm waiting till after…
  • I am the same as MadWorld I yo yo from 4-7 pounds from my goal weight. I once hit 161pounds which was one from my target. I feel great most days and I exercise 1-3 times a week. I'm learning to maintain my weight now which is harder than losing it. It feels like you're eating way too much but it's also great too!!! Good…
  • Bump explanation. If you notice when you write in the forums the topic becomes availble to view under "my topics" bump is just a way of adding it to your topics so it's easier to find later on because sometimes it dissappears iff the mainscreen.
  • Hey everyone. Hope it's all going well this month. Not sure how but was 11st 9.4 today which is amazing for me. Only happened once but still it's positive. • If I'm allowed to say Allen Carr "Easyway" to quit is a great read. Helped me alot with attitudes towards addictions x
  • I gained a little at the start. Took me about one month to battle with staying even before I started losing again. It's a fantastic feeling being free from them so I give you all my encouragement. This was my fifth quit attempt and the longest I have been off them. It's been a hard year but I'm nearing the end feeling…
