I didn't read all of the thread so this may be repetitive, but we do meal pre-cooking and pre-planning on the weekends including making lunches and suppers to freeze, and generally planning the food aspect of our week. This cuts down hugely on time, and I noticed you are dedicating time to food both morning and evening. We…

5'4'' (Maybe just a bit shorter) 37 Bust 27 Waist 39 Hips 150 ish pounds I'd guess (I only weigh every few months as it isn't my priority)

Thin when I'm behaving, thick when I'm not ;)

You look phenomenal, and as someone with the same height and a similar goal it is extra inspiring :)

My survival depends on a morning coffee. I put a shot from the hot chocolate machine (maybe 4 tbsp) in the bottom, then fill 'er up! No other milk/sugar beyond the hot chocolate. As someone mentioned above, it really helps tone down my sweet tooth, delays my hunger a bit while I am awaiting lunch, and is something I…

Another vote for greek yogurt -- eat it every morning as part of my breakfast grazing. I don't mix it with anything, it's just another addition. I also usually eat a piece of cheese in the morning -- usually Baby Bel Light.

When I just had a desk job and VERY minimal physical activity, I was able to maintain 1200/day for an extended period of time. It worked to the tune of 2ish pounds a week. When I wanted to actually change my habits, including returning to lifting, I was simply too hungry and ineffective. I think it depends on your specific…

Caramel popcorn and banana bread -- one or the other woudl have been fine.

...but you've been to his house before, right?

5 months lifting 3x a week with sporadic HIIT. For reference, I am 5'3" and in the photo I am approximately 152 lbs. Unfortunately this was a couple years back, I let it slide, and now I am back to lifting hoping to "re-achieve".

I think the real problem you are having is with anyone who "thinks they know better". Sometimes, you probably "think you know better" and that is why people reject YOUR advice, whether right or wrong. No one likes being told things which (in their opinion or in a general sense) are inaccurate or condescending, or make you…

How long did it take? Just curious, you look GREAT :)

Not as interesting as other posters, but my spouse is in the military -- as a result we do a lot of what I like to call "weighted hiking". We fill the rucks (is this a civilian word too? I honestly have no idea) with measured weight and head out for really any activity. Walking the dog, exploring new trails, sometimes even…

Even at my smallest and fittest this happens to me :( I guess it's just the shape of my thighs.

I gave up this fight. I wear leggings-style yoga pants daily, including to work (with tall boots and a fancier top).

This thread is A+, I I hope to return to contribute but I am presently at work where they don't like me saving and uploading half naked pictures of myself.

I love fast food, and fit it into my day every couple of weeks. I find allowing myself to have it, guilt free, keeps me from craving or binging too badly. Also, as my body has gotten used to new habits the desire has decreased -- and some things that never bothered me before make me feel sick/sluggish/etc, which helps (sad…

1) Yes...but... 2) She has an account but never uses it. I doubt she remembers the login information. She knows I log daily. 3) No? I assume this question is in some way aimed at people who spend all of their MFP time flirting.

I think this partially depends on differentiating between soreness and stiffness caused by use, and soreness resulting from injury. If you're just tender from working out, feel free to lift after your rest period. If you think it may be due to actual injury such as a pull, then it will need to be catered to. Often…

I LOVE to eat, and that includes all of life's joys like pizza, fries, vodka cranberries, and bacon. I have my MFP set at 1500ish, but I eat back my exercise calories, generally putting me around 1700-1900 a day. 27 y/o woman, 5'4, down around 30 with another 20ish to lose depending on how it goes.

Here we are, looking rugged:

He's in my icon! Olaf, named long before Frozen was a thing after e.e. cummings' poem. Almost 4, boxer/shep/lab.

Fancy meeting you here ;) but I agree on all counts. I am 5'4" and with a personal trainer my 150s were the BEST my body has ever looked.

No cheat days here. If I want to eat something crazy, like my favourite calorie-crazy pasta dish at our favourite restaurant, I work my butt off to ensure it won't throw me off. On an average day, as we go to the gym near-daily, If I WANT fries, or cake, or what ever, I can choose to fit it in. I think cheat days set up a…

I am predicting most people here will say you need to eat back those exercise calories -- that is how MFP is designed. You want a total "balance" of 1200 (or what ever your goal is) at the end of the day. A week is a short time to become frustated with anything. It takes a lot longer to see trends, to account for water…

This -- and you can print it yourself. "Things" (in a box) is also hilarious if you know the people reasonably well.

An almost-4 year old boxer/shep/lab mix, 92 pounds of love and loyalty. And a 6 year old chubby, cross-eyed kitty. Oh, and one fish in an overkill-large aquarium (major upgrade from the plastic cup we bought him in).

An energetic, spontaneous biker babe

Looking good! Congratulations on the progress :)
