Bree - love your hair! Naturally wavy/curly? Mine, too, but I can't get it to look that way. Love it!

  THE WOGGERS! It's corny but I like it. Vote #1. :drinker: Are we gonna just put together how this thing is gonna work? Like, we walk such and such minutes then run such and such minutes, etc. or are we gonna wing it? I'm doing a 16 minute mile right now. I'd like to better that time. I need motivation!…

Honestly, I used My Daily Plate/Livestrong.com. I did't really get any results like I do with MFP. Also, the support you find here tops any other site out there. Anyway, whichever you decide, good luck. Hope to see you around.

The best site I've seen in ages is on lifetime.com. Cook Yourself Thi n. It is everyday food you already probably have. The turkey burger is awesome. I added red pepper flakes and more spinach. Also, the cauliflower and yukon gold mashed potatoes are the best I've ever eaten. Getting the book in next week. Good luck!

Sounds exciting! What are we gonna call our group?

They've become so big and it made me smile how something so ordinary as underwear can make me smile!…

HI Y'ALL! I just couldn't wait to tell SOMEONE! I just weighed my self and I finally broke the 143 plateau and hit 142! I know, big woop. :blushing: For me though, it is great. I've been trying to break that 143 for weeks!

I love this website - http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/calories_burned.asp I haven't found an exercise yet that isn't listed. For instance, when I do Pilates, I can adjust the amount of time and it will calculate the calories burned. Then, I go to MFP and enter the excerise manually. I love it. Sparkpeople is a free…

Honestly, I tried the "first" circuit training gym. I hated it! Their measurements were inconsistent and the "trainers" were there but absent, you know. I started walking every morning for about 1 1/2 months and the weight just melted off. When I went back to work after summer break, I wasn't able to keep up the routine…

Hey, I know where you're coming from! I started to call myself the human garbage disposal before I started this journey over a year ago. I've stumbled, will stumble again, and get back up and get on track. It's life. Don't worry, it'll be fine. How many calories are you taking in a day? Even though you had that lunch, and…

Welcome! You've come to the right place. Nothing but love here. You'll find REAL support here, not like at the gym with your trainer. They're paid to tell you what you need to hear. We tell you 'cause we care. I love it here. Great resources, great people. Happy to have you. Amy

Thanks. I've been so frustrated lately. I guess I needed to vent. I have a sister who weighs nearly 300 pounds. She is CONSTANTLY "sick" and stays in bed days at a time. I was 180 pounds when I started and am now weighing in at 143. She keeps saying, "I wish I can do that. It's just too hard for me. It hurts. BLAH BLAH…

Wow...yeah, interesting. You know, I'm so tired of people making eating and living healthy such a chore. People need to stop thinking of it as "dieting" and see it for what it is, a LIFESTYLE! When I finally realized that and started acting and stopped micro-dieting, the pounds melted off! I was even able to quit smoking…

Jayberian: I can'st wait to try it! I didn't get to go buy groceries yet. I couldn't leave my son alone today...today was a rough one. As for your weekend "problem" about loggin stuff in. Here is a suggestion - e-mail yourself what you eat and when you get back home, you can go and log it all in! I did that while my son…

Wow! That sounds awesome AND easy! I would love to try this. I REALLY need to get groceries. For me, I think I'll add in spinach. I love spinach in these types of dishes. Also, I don't know if you've ever tried panko bread crumbs, but THEY ROCK. It gives a wonderful flavor and crunch and is healthier than breadcrumbs.…

Does anyone have a good recipe for 85% cocoa chocolate bar? I heard that the healthiest chocolate is the one with the highest percentage of cocoa. I finally found some and went a little...crazy. I bought 3 big bars and they don't taste at all like what I expected. I think it would be good to bake with but I'm not much of a…

I have some of that frozen, grilled chicken and I'd like to make something other than the usual. Any suggestions? I'm cooking brussels as a side dish. Thanks!

Stacey, I know what you mean about the P90X. A friend of mine got it and it IS a wonderful way to exercise, build muscle, etc. But, when he asked me if I wanted to join him, well, suffice to say, it is too intense for me, too. I'm like you. I prefer walking (which is how I started and lost 25 pounds doing it), then I moved…

Hi Jayberian! Welcome. You'll love it here. Every morning I can't wait to log on and see what everyone's up to! I haven't been a member of MFP for too, too long and I'm hooked! Can't do without it! As to your background...I can SOOOOO relate! I, too,, lost 3 babies and now I have a 17 year old son! We, too, had…

Thanks for the suggestion. Duh! Should have thought of that first. Anyway, here is what I found. Great new site. Has just about ANY exercise you can think of. I strongly suggest using this everyday. Here is the link. Again, thanks and have a great day! http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/calories_burned.asp?exercise=122

I do Pilates everyday and run the treadmill. When I go to log in my exercise, Pilates isn't a choice. How do you log exercise if it isn't listed? How can you figure out the specifications?

Morning all! Hope everyone is well. I think today is going to be a great day! I woke up feeling great. Lots of energy. Stomach feels a little ahn-ahn but, all in all, feel great! Actually looking forward to working out! I have a question, though, that I hope you all can help me out with. When you log in your…

Isn't it one of the most beautiful places you could think of to live?! And so "southern" and friendly. People have such a bad idea about New Orleans. I can't say I blame them with everything in our past but, if you stay in the "right places" (like any town in America), it is wonderful. Thank you so much for your time and…

That's fine with me. What's the number? I did about 40 today, 20 yesterday. Doesn't sound like a lot but, trust me, for me, that's a start...

Hello, Dana. I'm Amy. Nice to meet you. How old is your son? Where are his fractions? I'm so sorry to hear about his accident. From what I've gathered, your son skipped being "lucky" and went straight to be BLESSED! Remember, God has the biggest gates ever...lots of room for everyone to lay their worries. There is NO limit…

Welcome, Larz. I have a friend at work who is OBESESSED with P90X! If you stick with it, you'll see great results quickly. At least he did. I wish I could afford it. It seems like the ultimate. I got the Malibu Pilates chair. I've been working out on it everday. I'm sore in places I didn't know had muscles! Keep me posted…

Thank you so much! Now I can check the facts to make sure that it is okay to cook. Have a great Monday!

Anyone know what cut milanesa steak is? The butcher told me it is leaner than flank. The steaks are really, really thin. I was thinking of making fajitas out of them but not sure of the nutrition. I've searched online and still haven't come up with anything. Help?!

Hey y'all! I'm back and it was THE BEST meal I think I've ever had, ever! I chose the grilled chicken without any sauce/topping, grilled veggies (better than chicken, almost) wanted more, house salad without croutons and fat free dressing on the side, and, quite possibly the best ever, baby green beans - grilled! Who'd of…

Hey guys and gals. My son wants to take me to Outback for my Mother's Day dinner. I've got two things on the menu on my mind. Can anyone help me with suggestions, substitutions, etc.? I'm thinking about the Grilled Chicken on the Barbie without the BBQ sauce or the Fresh Tilapia with Lump Crab meat. I'd also like the house…
