  • LOL Who knows! In Louisiana, things change so quickly and often!
  • I've done WW before but I find it harder to stay on point with my diet. I understand how successful it is and has been for many people. I just don't think it is right for me. Being that you can "eat whatever you want" on WW (basically), I find that I tend to over-indulge. I know it is a mental thing, too, but for me, MFP…
  • Thanks everyone!
  • Well, I live in Louisiana and you know how we eat here...Cayenne is THE staple in our kitchens. I can honestly say that the amount of cayenne it would take to increase your metabolism is far to much for you to eat. Besides, if that were true, I'd be skinny! LOL
  • I have a Polar F6 and I purchased it on ebay for around $50, I think. Also, if you get a Polar, don't be freaked out about how it says that you have to send the watch off to the factory to get the battery changed. I was able to change mine very easily. It takes a 3V battery! It is EXTREMELY easy to change. Just unscrew the…
  • Well, you know your are not alone in this dilemma. I, too, was lacking motivation...for a long time! Now, with the new year, I've decided to use the people who I normally think were/are sabateurs to motivate me. I'm very competitive. Competition is all I need. I've decided to iniate a "Biggest Loser" competition at work.…
  • I personally do not care for greek yogurt. I have tried adding fruit but still can't get past the tartness.
  • Congratulations! It is very difficult to overcome any disorder. I smoke and have tried to quit a-gazillion times and I can't do it. I'm proud for you. This is a great accomplishment. Well played!:drinker: :flowerforyou:

  • I'm gonna guess that TOOTHBRUSHES were made in the south, if not, they would be called TEETHBRUSHES. :embarassed:
  • Okay, I followed the recipe, however, I'm confused. Are the chickpeas supposed to crunchy or slightly chewy? And, how do you store them? In the fridge, out the fridge...?
  • That's what I usually do but I work in the administrative office of an elementary school. It gets quite busy and I'd like to have them done, quick and ready to grab.

  • The problem with some people, most people, in my opinion, is that they don't ever think they have a problem...everyone else is the one with the problem. I totally get it. I know too many of "those" people.
  • TIRIMASU
  • I hadn't planned to but that does sound good! Thank goodness I haven't gotten groceries yet...
  • If I workout at 2:30 and go lay around in the bed and watch TV, read, whatever around 4:00...does that counter the exercise I did? It just feels counter-productive...:ohwell:
  • I'm in! I need all the motivation I can get. Last summer, between April and July, I dropped about 55 pounds. I went from a size 18 to a size 10. I've gained it all back. I do Pilates everyday and am following my eating religiously. It will be harder this time than last because I'm not running yet. I had so much time on my…
  • My dear Watson, I do believe you're on to something!!! I, too, did a little research after the previous posts and found the catalyst for mine. I work at a local elementary school and I have been on summer vacation since June 14th. I have been walking bare feet nearly the entire time. The article I read said that…
  • OMG! I really thought I was being silly. Really?! Crap. I know that it can't be my shoes 'cause they are walking/running shoes and have never had problems with them. It is driving me crazy because the pain is JUST in my heel, no pain what so ever in or near the arches or ankle. This is crazy. OMG! I won't be able to wear…
