  • YAY! Tall women! I'm 5'11" and am 170 lbs right now trying to get down to 150. MFP has my calories set at about 1500 cal per day, but I usually eat at least half my exercise calories so I'm usually eating anywhere from 1500-1800 a day. I'm so happy that I found this thread, since I feel as though my body is not the…
  • That sounds AMAZING!!! I'm trying that tonight!
  • Uhhh... yeah, I'm on the sodium battle myself. It seems like everything I eat is packed full of sodium, so I'm really making an effort to cut back! A recent revelation is that I can just put a flavored vinegar on my salad and it tastes the same as balsamic dressing but without the sodium!

  • I take a probiotic supplement that has the same "good bacteria" that is in activia, but without the calories and sugar. 19 grams of sugar in a little yogurt is too much for me! You can find these Probiotics at health food stores.

  • If protein is all you are going over on, then I wouldn't worry too much about it. Especially if you are working out, you need it to help your muscles recover. I usually go over on protein, and am way under on carbs, and it seems to work for me!
  • KINGS OF LEON!!!!!
  • That's great! I always love a good long hike when I go home to visit my mom who lives in the Blue Ridge mountains! Perfect way to spend quality time with the fam while getting an amazing workout, all while enjoying the beautiful outdoors! You've got me wishing I were there right now! Congrats on a great weekend!
  • Grilled vegetable Boca burger, no bun with some mustard, and Green Giant healthy weight frozen veggies!
  • Thanks for all the advice! I do think that the prepackaged meals I've been eating may be the main culprits. Those sneaky little guys are so convenient, but are probably causing me more harm than good! I'll try so hard!!!!
  • Morning Star Spicy Black Bean Burgers or Asian Veggie Patties are my fave! I have them every day at work. Just heat them in the microwave, and they don't even need a bun! One is around 100 calories. I eat two with some fresh veggies and hummus. Try it and you'll be hooked!

  • The most efficient way to lose belly fat ( or any fat in general) is through cardio. While crunches will tone and strengthen your core, the only way to see the result is to get rid of the layer of fat your abs are hiding under!
