She is so right! Try calculating your BMR (just google it), and reset your calories to that number. Also, eat back your exercise calories! My diary is open if you'd like to look.

I just discretely did it with a pen at work, and I passed! I'm positive I wouldn't have passed in January though! Thank you, squats, lunges, and treadclimber!

I love cereal! My top two are Shredded Wheat & Bran and Kashi Go Lean. I eat cereal with soy milk because I'm lactose intolerant. It also has less calories than skim milk and tastes better, in my opinion!

That's great! I know it's scary at first, and you may not feel hungry enough to eat all of the calories right away. That's okay, just work up to it. My food diary is open, so feel free to check it out and get ideas (although I was on vacation last week). Congratulations on your new baby and weight loss to date!

Under normal circumstances, you should calculate your BMR (lots of websites do the math for you, so Google it), set your minimum calories to your BMR, and eat back all exercise calories. If not, your body will thinif k it's starving and your weight loss will stop. If you're breastfeeding, then you need to eat even more.…

NEITHER! :tongue: I have a Treadclimber at home, which combines a treadmill, stairstepper, and elliptical in one. Bowflex makes them, but I got a great deal on a used older model on Craigslist. I hate running, but I can do the Treadclimber for an hour and burn over 500 calories. Look into it! :flowerforyou:

I can't claim to have the answer, but please try to love yourselves! Maybe try to write down one thing you like about yourself when you look in the mirror? Keep the list as a constant reminder of how awesome you all are. HUGS!

I've lost a 3-gallon tub of super premium ice cream! I'm hoping to weigh the same as a newborn giraffe (my favorite animal, coincidentally!). :)

My weight loss has pretty much stalled as well. I checked my BMR after reading "eat more to weigh less" posts and it said I should be eating 1470 calories before exercise. I changed my calories from 1390 to 1470 just yesterday, and I feel that I made the right choice. Previously, I was trying to stay at 1200 calories a day.
