I sent thank you note to my daughter-in-law for hosting the cook-out yesterday. I said Hoorays! with my future daughter-in-law who just passed a huge final (I'm so happy for her!). I helped my husband tie up a tree that's leaning in our yard (without complaining about the pinchy branches). And I sent words of encouragement…

Hi, I'm Flyinghawk2012. I'll be 61 this year. I've retired. I live in Ohio (near Cleveland) with hubby. I consider myself "young-at-heart" and I try my best to stay active and alert. I enjoy walking my dog, dancing and golf.

I took the dog for a walk -- .30 minutes. And did 25 over-the-head weight lifts (5# weight) and 25 arm curls (5# weight). Does this count for anything?

Ta Da!! I did it. . . . and walked 1.5 miles on the treadmill. My knees hurt . . . gonna take it easy tomorrow.

hA hA!!! That would kill my knees. How about Kickbox upper cuts. I have a really good Leslie Sansome Walk & Kick video. It's a 30 minutes work out.

That's so sweet! Unfortunately I have arthritis in both knees and in my spine. - what the heck -- I'm 60 - it happens . . . thank goodness for meds . . . . The only exercise that I can do that doesn't hurt is walking - and that in moderation. I like this program because it keeps me coming back!! I actually weigh myself…

I walked 45 minutes today. That's the best I can do. The other exercises are too strenous for me - I've been in pain all week. Should I drop out of the program?

I've been telling my friend about MFPs - and she's interested. Today I will help her. Does that meet this challenge? Or . . . my friend is in hospital in Calif - undergoing treatment for cancer. I send her a note of cheer each day. Does that count?

I Skype my family (Tennessee & Utah) all the time. I even Skype my grandchildren across town.
