I lost the first 100 lbs pretty steadily. It took about 2 years. I had much more dramatic losses the first few weeks but, as expected, they leveled off. You'll have some weeks that you stay the same...but that does not necessarily indicate a plateau. I even had some weeks that I gained...that's life! I didn't workout…

I have successfully lost almost 150 lbs following Weight Watchers. I use MFP as well. My calorie and macro goals are very close in line with my point goals given by WW. Many people on MFP completely misunderstand what the program is...even those who have tried it. It is very similar to other forms of accountability (like…

I LOVE these! But I have to portion them out carefully as I could easily eat the entire container!!

I also make the popcorn in a paper bag but I don't add any oil and it works just fine.

a ripe banana mashed with some PB2...almost every morning!

Good advice! I agree. work on your muscles. I have noticed my knee fat and thighs have toned up significantly from building muscle. Still waiting on the arm jiggle though! But I'm confident, ok...hoping...it will come!

When I look at the graph in the Activity Manager, it shows roughly 12 cal/min burned during my actual workout. For a 30 minute workout, that's 360 calories, not the 700+ (can't remember exactly) that it read on the screen post workout. Not sure if that clears anything up...it just confuses me more.

Has this leveled out for you two yet? I just started wearing mine today and the burn it registered for 1/2 hour on the elliptical is almost DOUBLE what MFP usually tells me...and I always heard MFP was high. It also registered my 30 minute commute as moderate activity! I'm considering whether or not to keep the Link.

Actually Trix were round puffs in the 80's and maybe even early 90's. Didn't go fruit-shaped till after that. Now they're retro! I prefer the round multi-colored puffs of my childhood :-)

They still make them. I bought them last week :-)

I go to bed in my workout clothes. Sports bra and all! 4;30 am alarm. Sneakers right next to my bed. As long as I don't lie there thinking about all of the reasons I should just stay in bed, I get up. Don't think about it, just do it. And I have found that I feel so much better and awake throughout the day when I get it…

I have no answer but I'm interested in seeing if someone else does. I'm waiting for my BodyMedia Fit and wondering how my CrossFit workouts will affect burn after the workout itself.

I second PB2! And Joseph's Lavash Wraps!!!

I have been considering buying one of these for over a year now. can anyone tell me if they found a good deal on one? I think Costco used to have them for the cheapest but I'm not sure anymore. The cost and monthly subscription is what has held me back. But I'm feeling the pull again...

I've followed the 1st two phases (Attack and Cruise) of the Dukan Diet a few times before. For me, it has helped with breaking plateaus etc. It does work. It's basically lean protein, veggies and low fat dairy. Like all things it essentially creates a caloric deficit. I have done it in conjunction with MFP as well as on…

Great Advice!! Thanks Dan!

Man, Why didn't my guidance counselor inform me of this professional possibility?! LOL!

Where do you work? And are they hiring?

So I'm not the only one at all!! I did good all day yesterday, no choice as I could only eat what I brought. Then I went home and ate chocolate chip cookies and Cadbury mini eggs in bed for dinner!

Poweraide!, Hmm...I'll give it a try. I'm sure fluids/hydration are key so that makes sense!

It's been a while for me too. Probably 10 years since I've been sick like this. As a teacher, and a pretty healthy eater, I pride myself on my rock-solid immune system. I think my body is in shock right now!

Thanks! Someone else recommended Alka Seltzer. I took Dayquil today to get me moving for work...but it's not helping much. I'll pick some Alka Seltzer Cold after work. I just don't want to spiral out of control with my eating. And yet, all I want is comfort food...

Bumping for ideas! I LOVE using wonton wrappers! So versatile and low fat/cal!!
-
I love these! My kids do as well. If I use my non-stick pan and cook over medium heat (electric stove), I don't need a spray or oil. YUMMMMM!

Thank you! My blood pressure is always fine...sometimes even a bit low. I'm happy to hear I can stop obsessing over this number! Maybe I'll remove it from my diary so I can't even see it!

What's the deal with potassium? I see people tracking it. How does it help?

My suggestion for the fiber drink is to mix it with about 12 oz of water and a bit of Spark powder in a tall glass. Then use a wide straw (like one from McDonald's) to suck it down. My joke is always "don't look it in the eye!" While it gets a bad rap...Advocare does teach people to eat whole, clean and unprocessed foods…

Saving this recipe for Friday!!
