  • I agree with Psulemon...If you must drop the weight, low carb for a few weeks. You'll drop it quickly. I've done it before when nearing the end of a few weight loss competitions. Always successful, but for me, never sustainable. Does the job though.

  • You can pop your own popcorn in a brown paper (lunch-style) bag in the microwave with no oil whatsoever. I use 1/4 cup of kernels. Fold down the top of the bag twice. Pop on your popcorn setting and wait to hear it slow down... a second or 2 in between pops...just like with pre-packaged microwave popcorn. Much healthier!!

  • I typically exercise first thing in the morning , on an empty stomach anyway. So that's not an issue. My occasional afternoon workouts might be but I guess I'll see how I feel. When I lift, that's in the evenings so I would have eaten something by then. Glad to hear from some that this might be my ticket to success!
  • Love this thread! I have about 10 lbs to get to my ideal (in my head) weight. I'm shooting for 15 though so I have a little buffer zone for vacations, holidays etc. I plan to weigh every day and go back to losing mode whenever more than 4 lbs. creeps up. If I weighed weekly...I'd likely forget!
