Wanting to lose 2 pounds a week

Hello I'm 5'3" and weigh 113. I am doing a figure competition, and need to be down 8 pounds by October 21. I am lifting weights 5 days a week, and doing cardio everyday. I eat about 1100 - 1000 calories, and the weight just isn't coming off. In the past when I did competitions, I saw a quicker weight loss. Not sure why its not happening this time around. I am 43 years old the last time I competed I was 41, I can't imagine because I'm 2 years older it would cause an issues. Does anyone out there have something I could try? My trainer tells me not to worry but omg I don't want to be on stage at this weight.

Thanks

I doubt you can lose 2 lbs of fat since you are already lean. If anything, just low carb it for a few weeks. But an 8 lb lose would definitely put you borderline underweight.

I agree with Psulemon...If you must drop the weight, low carb for a few weeks. You'll drop it quickly. I've done it before when nearing the end of a few weight loss competitions. Always successful, but for me, never sustainable. Does the job though.
