The scale for me is being really mean this week showing I'm up 3 lbs and I know mathematically that it can be, so I'm ignoring it. It's going to be the week I take measurements to reinforce the hard work I've been putting in to keep me motivated. I figure between my sodium intake and the new job I started this week that…

You should be proud with the obstacle you face that the scale is moving in the direction you want it to!!

Starting weight: 176.2 lbs Current weight: 174.6 Challenge goal: 168 lbs Ultimate Goal: 145 01/31: 174.6 2/07: 175 I had way to much sodium yesterday and I'm sure that is why I'm up... give it a couple days and it should show my hard work for the week :)

I agree with this! You will find differing opinions with the question you brought forth. What works for one person doesn't always work for another. The key is to find a "balance" that will work for you. Keep in mind a "cheat meal/day" can throw you out of your weekly deficit if you are not careful in your choices.

I seem to be able to get within 10-15 pounds of my ultimate goal and for some reason back off. My outlook is always positive (or so I think) and I work really hard to choose a positive attitude everyday, I just don't know why I seem to sabotage myself when I get really close. I'm really hoping this time around I can get…

I'm in again this month :) No late night snacking after 7pm; unless I'm on late shift (hoping not to get many of those this month).

How did everyone do this month?? I lost a total of 5.4lbs since I started back on MFP Jan 6; plus, I have been exercising 5 days a week :-) Am super proud of myself for sticking with it! Here's to a fabulous February! I'm shooting for 8lbs this month. I will definitely be facing some challenges the next few months as I…

Good job rhaiin!! Cwolfman13 that is a good start to the day! I know I posted this early in the day, it was a thought I needed to get out. My accomplishment for the day is staying under my calorie goal during my day off exercise. Normally, I found if I don't exercise I go over.

Me: 12 LNS: 5 Streak: 0 This challenge is really difficult on the nights I work til 9pm! I was starving when I got home and had an apple, at least it was a good food choice :)

Everyday we have choices to make: you choose your attitude when you wake up, you choose to add physical activities and you make choices about the food you want to eat. I would be asking myself will this choice fit in my daily calorie goal? With my food allergies I often want foods I cannot have and have to also ask myself…

JPearl, chin up, you are in the right place for some motivation. The scale is just a number, have you taken your measurements? The reason they tell us not to weigh ourselves everyday is the scale will go up and down, so if you are going to weigh yourself daily you need to not put so much emphasis on the number. The scale…

Me: 8 LNS: 3 Streak: 0 I think I need to change the time to 9pm, getting off work at 8pm and not having a snack after 7pm is proving to be very difficult. Moving forward my goal is no snacking after 9pm.

How's everyone doing?? Any Scale victores or NSV's to share?? I was successful this week exercising 5 of 7 days and the scale showed a 1.6lbs loss. I have been doing fitnessblender workouts almost daily and/or DH and I go golfing (weather permitting). Exercise has been easy for me to fit in. My food diary this week is all…
