I also have a section of bowel that is narrow and have had a history of a partial blockage (caused by scar tissue from a related surgery and have had to be hospitalized). I would first see a GI doctor and perhaps inquire about getting a bowel study done to…

Fidgeting burns calories. Tap your feet, bounce your leg up and down, squeeze your legs open and shut, swivel your chair from side to side, tap your fingers quietly on your desk, etc. Get creative. It's been proven that fidgeting as opposed to sitting still will result in more calories burned. Just move something!

I totally agree with this point of view...including the mention of alchohol... I'm speaking of Red wine, which has many beneficial properties , ie antioxidents, resveratrol, heart healthy and cholesterol lowering capabilities (of course in moderation).

My hair is natural, so I usually just wear a black satin scarf to the gym (because my hair is usually still in twist from the night before). I dont like to open and fluff out my twists until I am ready to go to work. The satin scarf keeps the humidity out too!

If you want more energy, you have to make healthier food choices. Period. Your fuel is what you feed your body. Alchohol for breakfast, skipping meals, junk foods in place of fruits and veggies, low protein, and low calorie intake will surely leave you feeling sick, run down and sluggish. Work on your diet and you'll feel…
