That guy was the only one using the word pissed. I said frustrated.

The purpose of this topic was to try to find ways to be more supportive. Let's keep the responses in that frame of mind.

No, just hungry.

I know she will get over it, but I want to be supportive because it's really hard at first to get back into healthy eating habits.

It's not about right/wrong. It's about pre-diffusing the situation.

Serious reply. The next time he approaches you tell him "I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression, but I'm not interested in a relationship". It's direct and non-accusatory. If that doesn't work you really should speak to management and tell them you were direct with him once and he's making you feel unsafe.

I always ask someone who challenges any notion to back up the claim with some kind of data. I've yet to get a response when I ask.

I don't drink juice much anymore since most of them aren't much different from Kool-Aid in their nutritional content. That and wings. But my god do I want some WINGS.

There is plenty of people out there that have been saying this for years. What evidence to the contrary do you have?

Eat disciplined small meals throughout the day to keep your body burning fat and exercise a lot. Don't skip on the water. As others have said, this is a lofty and potentially unreachable goal, but even if you come close you'll have done your body well (as long as you feed yourself!) What is your current weight and height?

Don't beat yourself up for what you've done in the past. If you're looking to get healthy now, then you're already on the right track. Use MFP to track your calories and stick to it. Make realistic goals and allow yourself some days to cheat. And drink lots of water!

Buffalo Wild Wings. I need to plan a cheat day...

Wow, thanks for all the replys so far. I suppose I should have mentioned that I'm male. It's good to know that this is normal, and for those that have mentioned it I have taken on some weight training as well. I do it after my runs when my body is warm and limber. I keep my calorie intake at around 1500-1800 with my goal…

Sounds like someone needs a better scale!

I weigh myself on Wed and Sun in the morning, buck naked. Anything more than that seems obsessive. (to me at least)

Thanks for the responses everyone. I think I may have found the direct answer in the FAQs (missed the first time around). http://www.myfitnesspal.com/help/faq/341-why-are-my-remaining-food-calories-different-on-fitbit-com-and-mfp Fitbit just has three goals: lose weight, maintain weight, gain weight. Your calorie "Goal…
