Thanks - I'm a little concerned that my Fitbit may be giving me too much credit. I usually eat back some (not all) of my exercise calories adn this may be screwing with my mind if nothing else. I'm thinking about taking a break from Fitbit while I finish Insanity, it's just hard to put my little buddy down :)

That might just be it. I'll pay more attention to that point and start cutting back. Although I track it, I've never really paid much attention to it.

thank you. I appreciate the feedback.

Thanks for the tip. I'm in the middle of Insanity right now and determined to get my 30 days done before a 9 day vacation. I will definitely take your advice when I go on vacation later this month and give me body a break.

I tried that last night. I ate exactly an extra 500 calories. Thanks for the tip.

BTW - I'm 5'4.5 (yes, i take credit for the .5) and about to turn 35 next month - today's weight in was 186.6 lbs

be careful - fitbit does not calculate insanity well. It recorded 250 calories burned vs 525 using my heart rate monitor.

I think our excitement about weight loss and working out has its ebs and flows. Sometimes you all "eye of the tiger" and sometimes your dragging yourself to go for a simple walk. The reality is thats ok and perfectly normal. I try to remind myself of this and that means I allow myself to work through it and that might mean…

Yes. I can go up as much as 10 lbs during tom and it takes another 5 days or so after it ends to take it off. But the good news is that it comes off.

Underwent intensive treatment for my sciatica for 4 months after 2 years of misery. I can now exercise and walk. Acupuncture was my last ditch effort to prevent surgery and I'm so blessed to have given it a shot.

I always wear my headphones when I cycle outside on dedicated bike paths - mind you there is limited traffic on my path and I don't blast the music. I can usually hear oncoming cars behind me.
-
bump - will definitely be making these!

I usually do a cheat meal on the weekend but not a day unless its tom. I don't eat my exercise calories so I figure I'm banking them for a high calorie meal. I still deficit weekly.
