I'm on day 3 - primarily to jump start eating right and to get my energy levels back up. Planning to juice for 10 days.

Tried it for a little over a month - didn't work for me. Gained 4 lbs. Back to the regular for less than a week and have already lost 1 lb.

Ive been eating my exercise calories since I started insanity. My body needs the energy and I've found it easier to stay on track.

Update. I just finished week 3 yesterday. Today is a rest day and I'm looking forward to starting week 4 tomorrow. After being at a plateau for almost 6 weeks I finally lost 1.4 lbs this week! I usually burn 550-600 calories on insanity using my hrm. I burned 150 doing cardiograph recovery using my hrm. About the same with carding abs.a

Sounds like you are being supportive but responsible with money which is a good lesson for them. How about buying them a bulk container of muscle milk from Costco. Inexpensive and maybe they will loose a few pounds a develop some healthier habits.

I'm doing Insanity. I walk on my recovery/rest days. Nothing strenuous and not too long. Just to avoid laying around all day.
