  • ONE habit at a time...not eating out means having food ready to go. I am struggling with a new schedule at work, so I have to now think about packing lunch AND dinner ... What Jenny said about NOT having cash so it isn't an option to buy fast foods...GO WITH THAT! Planning when you have time to plan, then packing up when…
  • I liked the one with five pound bags of flour...for each five pounds lost, you donate a bag of flour and watch your shelf space get naked! ;-)
  • My sister is a teacher, started kindergarten, after about seven years she finally "passed" into the first grade and now she teaches second grade. (Just a family joke. She LOVED teaching kindergarten and was bummed when they started the step up program so the teachers stay with the students for at least two years...cool for…
  • bumping so I can actually see the images after I get home. (some get blocked at work...not sure how they pick and choose what gets blocked and what doesn't...but I saw all of the "Friends" posts just fine!)
  • Have you met Zilch the Torystellar? "My name is Terry Foy, although you might know me better as Zilch the Storyteller. Er, ah, Torysteller. The stories I tell have a bit of a twist to them. I spalk in toonerisms. Ah, I talk in spoonerisms. Citching one's swonsonants fack and borth Worning your Turds around. It's serfectly…

  • I change one habit at a time...it is really slow, but it is happening. I know I would give up after a couple of weeks if I tried a total overhaul. Logging daily NOT drinking my calories cutting down on eating meals out/fast food on the run adding more vegies move more drink more water one habit at a time, one step at a…

  • I'm at work and can't... would someone please post the one with the cake icing melting off of his face from Mrs. Doubtfire...and one with him with his daughter in What Dreams May Come..
  • LOVE Mrs. Doubtfire! Looking forward to more GIFs!
  • I have been lax lately due to family issues, but I am trying to get back to it. IF I don't have an accurage measurement, I make sure to OVER estimate my intake and UNDERestimate my output (exercise) so that the error is on the side of losing. ETA: PRE logging helps a lot by making me look at the "price before buying!"
  • CROCK POT and my kids eat what I do...if they want something different, THEY buy it and make it. Example Frozen chicken put it in the crockpot with taco seasoning over the top, low for the day. Come home shred, have the kids shred lettuce, dice tomatoes and onion...and have chicken tacos/burritos Then the leftovers stay in…
  • While you CAN zero out, or TARE, it is not recommended in case you would accidentally OVER pour/add your items. While this is easy in building a sandwich (except adding condiments...) it can be way harder to take those raisins out of the batter...
  • Start now. find your triggers and don't let them in the house. REmember that your kids deserve to learn to eat healthy too, so they don't have this struggle when they grow up. Bad choices happen, don't let them ruin your whole day. If you think you will give up a total overhaul, start with one habit at a time, but…
  • In my circle, my friends call me the water nazi...I send out the reminders to drink up. I worked up to drinking half an ounce for each pound I weigh. But if you drink to the point that your urine is near clear...you can do that instead of measuring... All of this is presuming that you dont' have medical contraindications...

  • If she still has the energy to make an amazing sandwich after...your doing it wrong...
  • after my first divorce I lost like 60 pounds in five months without trying ( I suspect it was all of the pacing I was doing, as well as not eating from being upset which is really unusual for me. Usually I eat when I am upset.) My picture is from after that divorce. This time I am trying to be more healthy about it. Slow…
  • I LOVE that you are posting again! I love that you show us life can happen and you just get back up again. It might not be easy, but it CAN be done! HUGS... *dusting off my own pants now as I pick myself up*
  • I'm an interpreter...does that count?
  • Sign Language Interpreter
  • And my only motivation right now is to ride the Superman at Six Flags with my boys...
  • "You Are Your Own Gym" is a great book for building up from nothing to ..yeah there is NO way I will even aspire to that (yet) They also have an app, but the app really helps only after you understand the stuff explained in the book. Thinks like starting with push ups against the wall...then down onto a kitchen…
  • I'd recommend heading in to see your doctor.
  • I love my fitbit one. I found it to be accurate on the eliptical. I LOVE that it does all of my walking through the day and I challenge myself to get my ten thousand steps in each day. If I do the stair climber, it will register the steps, but not flights of stairs because of the altmiter used for that purpose. I just take…
