Last January, I lost close to 40 lbs (225-189) from just tracking my calories and walking in a little over 3 months. Then COVID hit and my life changed dramatically so I'm back to where I was (and some more). But walking works and it will continue to be one of my main sources of exercise going forward

I have this really cute skirt that I bought years ago but never found an occasion to wear it to. This year, I want to do a social distanced picnic and the skirt calls be worn outside.

Yay for March!! This is my 3rd month with the group and I love you ladies! SW: 228 CW: 196.9 GW #1: 180 I finally hit ONE-derland in February so my goal for March is to get to 188. March should be interesting as classes will be intensifying so keeping my meal prep needs to be on point. So if you have any great recipes,…

A couple weeks ago, I posted here that my wrists were finally small enough to get my FitBit on the last hole of the large wrist band and I should find the smaller one....well, the smaller one must have not made the move and I now have to buy a smaller band because this one is about to be too big!

Let's Do this for February! SW 228 CW 199.3 GW#1 - 180 1/31 - 206.1 2/7 - 202.6 2/14 - 202.2 2/21 - 199.3 Well this was a good week. I spoke about this yesterday but I was really feeling rough a couple of days ago. I have noticed a pattern in my weight loss history that i'd get to the low 200's and then let something get…

I weigh most mornings as well. Probably 6 days a week. I like these daily fluctuations as it often not only shows me when I eat too much with too much salt, it can also surprise me when I eat off plan and then I wake up and the number really hasn't moved. The daily weigh-ins keep me motivated and can keep me making good…

@aliciap0116 & @bidingmytime thank you!!!!!

Good morning ladies (well morning here in Belgium!) I normally post my weigh-ins on Fridays but I'm just so flipping happy that I need to let it out somewhere. I finally hit ONE-derland!!! I honestly have been struggling this week and could feel myself slipping into old habits so this news was some really nice validation…

Oooh great to know! I'll look out for it this fall!

Oooh I haven't seen serranos but I'm such a wuss when it comes to new peppers so that's good to know about the Bulgarian ones. Where do you usually get them?? I've actually found sour cream here! Shout out to Albert Heijn!! But I really want to try and use your recipe!

I'm in Flanders. When I wrote this, I was really struggling and I think I'm finally adapting. The biggest things that I'm missing are actually the Mexican/southwest items which makes sense. I was just so used to eating a certain way and having such a variety of ingredients available to me. If you know where I can find a…

@4nts I'm in Antwerp! It's been going pretty well and I'm learning to really love it here! Thank you for all of our suggestions! I didn't know I could get chia seeds at Action!! That's great to know and I think I don't go there often enough! I'll have to try fromage frais because I just can't handle Skyr! I've seen the…

While my mom may have had a salad occasionally, I never ate it because I didn't eat (and still don't) lettuce. She tried when I was younger but I couldn't eat it. Since I was the oldest, she just got used to never serving it to the whole family. Now that I'm older, I love a good salad as long as it's with spinach. I rarely…

Let's Do this for February! SW 228 CW 202.6 GW#1 - 180 1/31 - 206.1 2/7 - 202.6 2/14 - 202.2 Not much of a drop this week but it's not all that surprising as I went out on Saturday and while I didn't eat too terribly, I definitely drank more than I should have. And as it's been a running theme of my time with this group,…

My mother is coming to visit me in April and I want to show off a smaller body (and it can actually stick for once!).

I travel with my food scale if traveling for longer than a day. It's tiny and fits in my bag so I don't feel like it's a hassle to bring. Plus it keeps me accountable as I know it's there so I might as well use it.

Mini chocolate chips. I weigh them out and eat them at night with peanuts.
