I can totally relate. I do weights and cardio but the scale doesnt seem to move. I know I have been gaining muscle but I am really wanting to loose body fat as well. I want to be able to see the muscle definition in my body..I want my hard work to show. I really watch my diet but I cant seem to loose the layer of fat…

I love lifting weights. Have your girlfriend check out bodybuilders.com. They have pictures of fitness models and they definately still look like women. They are my inspiration.

I felt so good and strong that I thought I could push a little harder..guess I was wrong. My doc said to just rest. I have three very young kids and just taking care of them is painfull. I will do what you suggest and try to get creative with my foods. Looks like walking may be my only exercise for a while. Anything weight…

ok so i will be sure to eat at least my 1200 per day and see if my weight starts to go down. I thought it was a good thing when I closed the day under my allowed calories but now I see I was sabotaging myself. Thank you

Sleepytexan your info seems to make more sense to me..plz no offense to the other post. the more imput the better but i dont want to put my body into starvation mode and it seems not eating my exercised calories will do that

mine is set at 1200 and I had lost 4 lbs but now I seem to be stalled.

Wish I could go back to basic training/bootcamp...lost tons of weight then. Of course it was non-stop exercise from sun up tp sun down and food was very regulated. Need my drill sgt. yelling at me to get my butt into shape:laugh:
