  • Arnica oli, massaged in to sore areas helps reduce the inflammation and soreness. It's hard to find because it has to be precisely mixed or it can cause problems.
  • You have to consider the energy system being used. In a spin class, it's a different demand and much higher heart rate than normal 'fat burning' zone cardio. That has a much lower heart rate and uses s different energy pathway for fuel.
  • I also bought a dehydrator, and have started dehydrating my own fruit. It's way cheaper and no added sugar.
  • I use raw almonds as my go-to snack. I pack them up in little 1 oz. Servings, and sprinkle in a little cinnamon. Always keep one in my work backpack and a few in the house. Just in case.
  • Why do drive-up ATM machines have braille on the buttons? If you are that blind, hoi w did you drive there?
  • I fast 16/8, and I put a splash of half and half in it. Just enough to lighten it a little. Everything I read and watched said as long as you keep a tight handle on it, a tablespoon or two of cream wont hurt your past. Just watch how much you consume, and no sweetened, flavored creamers.
  • I make mine with a Nutribullet....as long as you add the coffee right away, its more than hot enough to ensure blending. I add a few teaspoons of unsweetened cacao powder.
  • I have been doing 16/8 for months now. Once you get in the groove, stay there. Your body adapts. So does your hunger mechanism. If you are going to change up days, you may keep finding yourself hungry because you are struggling to adapt. If you are going to switch days, change the time you stop eating.
  • All my raised beds are 3x6...it works. Try square foot gardening. You plant denser, and get bigger yields.
  • Right now, 285#. After that....280. Bite sized is easier to focus on. Especially when I am not sure how far down I want to go. Surely a ways more, but mywsist measurement is my " handrail". Easier to maintain focus going a few pounds at a time.
  • I can see how after the first few times, that would really get annoying. It's very trivialising.
  • Nothing wrong with weighing yourself every day. I do it at least every couple of days. If you do it the same time, every day and keep a log of everything you eat and drink, you gain a pretty good understanding of how your body works. The more you know, the easier it is. You understand when you are retaining water, or not…
