I try to go in the early morning or at dusk. Then come home and jump right into the pool!!

We take two cruises each year and I just enjoy everyday on them! Yes, I gain 4-5 lbs while on them and then come home jump right back on track to lose them! It's vacation, please enjoy it!!

Like others have said, the c25k program is the best!! I just finished it and can't say enough good about it!

Been married 18 years strong here, with many more to come;)

I did have a number in mind and was within 2 lbs of it and my body was just holding steady around that weight, so I called it goal! I am comfortable in my clothes/size and do not want to get to weight that is hard to maintain. I think you have to listen to your body and not the scale. Go on how you feel and how your…

Great job!

I just finished it! I could not run at ALL when I started and thought I never would be able to run over 5 minutes. Today I ran for 40 minutes! I totally believe in this program. Be sure to join the c25k board on here, there are lots of great tips/members. You can do it no problem!

Pasta & fresh hot baked bread!

I agree as well. I have had 5 children, though I feel after the first one my body changed so much. The older I was having children, the harder it was getting back into shape.

I love the Skinny Cow Devine Candy when I must have chocolate. I also make lots of the cream pies for my family with reduced fat graham cracker crusts, s/f pudding, skim milk and a bit of FF Cool Whip on top. I like a small treat after dinner;)

I have also only done mine on the treadmill as well at an incline of 2. I am a weather wimp since moving from Northern Illinois down South;) I hope to start outside more in the next couple of weeks. Last summer and fall before i started the c25k, I would do a walk/run through my subdivision, though it is FULL of hills! I…

Great job! This Friday will be my 1 year on MFP and I just reached my goal (36 lbs lost). I did notice the older you get the slower it wants to come off;) you are doing great!
-
That is great you did it! I think that trying to go to fast is the main reason people quit this program. They feel like they should be "running" right from the start. I know that I never would made it through if I was going on speed;)
-
I'm not going to say that I LOVE running, but I can say that I HATE the first mile and then do not mid it as much after that.
-
I save room every night for either Ice Cream, Chocolate, or Wine;)

Great job!

Great job....congrats!

Going to be 43 this year and though the weight does not come off that fast or easy, it will come off! For me it is more about being healthy and happy at this age;)
-
Great job!
-
TJ Max for sure! Great selection and prices.

I will be 43 this year and totally understand how it is not as easy as you get older. It can be done, just takes a lot of patience and dedication. My 1 yr mark on MFP is coming up on March 22nd and just finally hitting my goal! Best of luck to you, you got this!
-
Wow, what a great story and job you have done!!! You look great!
-
Great job!!!
-
Don't give up, you can do this! Try to slow down as much as possible and concentrate on your stride and breathing.
-
I make stuffed jalapeños with them! I also like them spread inside a tortilla for a wrap;)

You got this!
