  • I started out a 24, and I'm 5'9. Right now I'm a 6, after losing 121 lbs in 10 months. You can do it!
  • I love to do "ingredients" dinners- so instead of making a sandwich or a cooked meal I'll make a plate of things. My favorite is Boar's Head cracked pepper turkey breast, feta cheese, raw veggies, pickles, and a slice of great bread. I eat each thing individually so I get to enjoy everything on its own, and it lasts longer.
  • I love this kind of milestone! Congratulations!!!
  • I found a couple of potential twins but I wanted to reply too, replying is fun! 31 year old mother of three SW 276 GW 155 CW 155-159, I'm in maintenance Add me if you want!
  • Boar's Head chipotle chicken sliced lunchmeat, fresh red peppers, and sugar snap peas.
  • http://www.zappos.com/dakine-sarita The pattern is wonky, but I love that it has a separate (externally accessed!) compartment for my shoes. Lots of space, comfortable, free yoga mat holder, and it has a contrasting internal lining, which I think is cute.
  • Have you tried foodgawker.com? It's my new obsession. Here's a search for quinoa: http://foodgawker.com/?s=quinoa Anyway, you can go basic and treat it like rice, or you can make tabbouleh with it, that's really good too. I just bought this book: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1612430201/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01 and it…
  • I had that same problem- I've lost 117 so far, and I had a baby in November. I've got excess skin in my stomach area, but I can noticeably tell that it's starting to retract, if that's the right word, as I continue to lose fat. I used to have a noticeable overhang all the way across, and in the last maybe month it's picked…
  • Ohhh! I like the sound of that better, because of course the problem with push up bras is eventually you take them off. Chest presses and push ups, that I can do. Though it sounds like from the comments here that I probably have to face the fact that the deflated look won't be going away any time soon. I'm 31, maybe I'll…
  • Joolie- That's EXACTLY the feeling I'm talking about... the water balloon thing. It sucks- pretty much the only thing about the weight loss that I regret. You look great, by the way! Jezebel- Yeah, I'm all about the push up bras. I can almost fit into a Victoria's Secret one without spillage- that will be a happy day.
  • I'm with everyone who says the replicator makes everything healthy- but here's my question. With all that technology, why are people still having babies vaginally? I'd have expected the transporter childbirth to have been invented at some point... as I jokingly said to my husband when I was pregnant, "Beam out the babies!!"

  • I didn't keep any of mine, but I kind of want to go to a store and try on a pair just to take the picture... so far I've gone from a 24 to an 8, and I've got 10 lbs to go!
  • I never really thought of collar bones until someone at work mentioned that she could see mine! I'm 5'9, and I'd say I was about 180 when she made the comment. It's kind of cool!
  • You look fantastic! I had the exact same reaction when I tried on my first 16 (Old Navy as well!). I also would spend time checking to see if the mirrors were tilted, and then get teary all over again when I realized they weren't! Congratulations, and keep up the amazing work!!
  • I've lost 109 lbs since having my daughter six months ago, and I used this to calculate how many calories my body needed while breastfeeding: http://www.freedieting.com/tools/breastfeeding_calorie_calculator.htm You're going to lose a lot very quickly after giving birth through decreased blood volume, water retention, and…
  • No kidding- age really does give perspective on all those insecurities!
  • Thanks very much! My ideal week I go to the gym three times. I do 30-40 minutes of cardio (elliptical or the alternating fast walking & jogging on the track are my favorites), and then 20 minutes of strength training. If I can't make it to the gym I talk the pup for a long walk in the neighborhood- that's really it! I…
