Ok, so I haven't been tracking my food for a while, other than for challenges when the need arises. I've just been eating to maintain while working on a recomp. I started logging my food for this challenge, and realized I still had my calorie goal at a "cut level" of 1400. I changed it to maintenance on Monday. If I stay…

Oh ok, cool. Was wondering if it was most weekly wins, or the total at the end of the challenge, and you answered that also, thanks!
-
Sooo... just out of curiosity (and not because I'm super competitive or anything..) is there a "winning team" chosen at the end of the challenge?

It's the same spreadsheet, so same link. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sRqt4GvOnfbAztyZcNaolQQoCAX5SRCZHabOfAKUZec/edit#gid=1025773285

We could really use more challenge points! There's a lot still on the board. We have over 600 more minutes than Team 1... but are only in the lead by 10 points.

I finished my "stairs" yesterday, and I gotta say to everyone who did theirs in 1 day.... you guys are amazing! I probably should have chosen a smaller step stool cuz I almost busted my butt a few times trying to do them while watching Tv! :joy: I still have 3 videos to complete for challenge 2. Hoping to do those tonight…

I love it when someone breaks down the math!

I think we could definitely use more people getting the 1000 minute max! That is my goal also. Remember, it doesn't have to be continuous exercise for the whole 2+ hours. Maybe you add some stretching when you wake up, or add some 5 minute breaks of walking around the office during the day, or jumping jacks to fight the 3…

Haha if your husband is anything like the guys in my family, all of a sudden you would need more of all kinds of things... just to see how many times you'd go down and up before you said 'no more'.
-
Oh no! Could it have been the battery? Mine died once and I had to climb in through a window. Really sucks. Sorry you had to deal with that. I hope tonight goes better for you. Maybe some nice and easy yoga will be worth doing to get minutes in and relax your tension.

Monday Night Progress: Watch videos for 10 bonus exercise minutes: completed this morning Challenge 1 for 10 points: 5 videos x 2 Completed the first 2 videos. My youngest son (4 years old) thought the Thriller video was hilarious and was trying to kill a zombie (me) the whole time. Then I put him on my back and finished…

I understood the "snacking" to be unhealthy, kind of mindless eating that people are apt to do in the evening. I am pretty sure they wouldn't count your tea as such. You may ask about the post workout... I wouldn't want you to feel depleted after a workout. They may be willing to define some parameters on what "snacking"…

That is so funny because when I joined the Navy, I was only 2 pounds over the underweight limit (and we were threatened with a gallon of milk to move the scale! :fearful:) I was also the only one to gain weight in boot camp. Almost 15 pounds and I loved the way I looked back then. One day maybe I'll get back there...…

Welcome to the team! Excited to have you! 18 half marathons is super impressive! Good luck with the no snacking this week! You can do it!!

Monday Progress: Watch videos for 10 bonus exercise minutes: So, I'm at work but thought this would be simple to go ahead and knock out. I figured I could just do some squat exercises for a few minutes, no big deal... :flushed: 3 minutes in and my thighs are burning, like, are they sure this video is only 4 minutes?? lol…

If we have no stairs, is using a step stool and doing step-ups okay? Might take me a while... but it's that or take the kids to the park and climb up the play place ladder and slide down to climb back up again... lol
-
I believe it's 10 extra exercise minutes.

Had anyone heard from @jackiep248? I don't think I've seen an update from her since Tuesday.

I don't know who just put us over... but, WE MADE IT!!!! Now just to keep the lead and earn the extra gravy points... Speaking of extra points, anyone want to explain the 10% over goal points? Do we get an extra 10 points for every 10% we are over 5,621 miles?
-
I was just looking at the power rankings thinking, ooh, if I just do another half hour maybe I can jump into the top 10. :innocent: 100 minute walk is amazing! I've been doing 60 minute walks and my calves are burning. I'm so out of shape.

I think just because you haven't entered your points for him to verify. Everyone enters their own points on the challenges once they're complete. For challenge 1, the numbers will be red until verified, then they'll turn black and be added to our total.
-
Hi Jackie, just wanted to make sure you saw the last part of the first challenge. I'm on mobile so could have easily missed your post, but since your points weren't verified, I wanted to double check with you! 3. State what town/province/state/country you are from and give a brief description of where you live (pictures…

Hi June! I noticed your points for challenge 1 weren't verified, so I think they're looking for more than just the region. If you have time, we'd love to hear about England!

I'm 5'1" but no 1200 cals here... I tried it years ago when I was an MFP noob, lost weight quickly and still looked.... not at all how I thought 105 lbs should look... Because bye bye lean muscle mass  I maintain on about 1700-1750 calories and eat 1400 when cutting. (Ok, I *try* to eat 1400... It can be tough.)
