Charge HR hurting wrist?
Anyone else feel a tingling in their wrist while using the Charge HR? I don't feel it all the time, but sometimes it will tingle just a bit, or even feel like pin pricks that do kind of hurt. :disappointed:

"Light" weights
Just wanted to put this up here for those ladies who think Stronglifts are not for them if they can't consistently make gains as often as they feel they should. I've been doing SL5x5 for almost 2 months. Top row of the pic is from July 8. Bottom row is September 1st. I'm still only lifting the bar sometimes. :embarassed:…

1st bulk/cut?
Hi Sara and SideSteel! This is my first time posting here, although I've followed some of your posts in the main forums. I just reached my "goal" weight of 105 lbs and am estimating that I should be really close to my goal body fat % (I was 18.1 a few weeks ago- my goal is 17). I had already upped my calories to 1400 +…

Camping snacks
I'm leaving tomorrow for a 4 day/ 3 night camping trip. Most meals will be provided. But I need ideas for snacks. Things we can eat on the go that will hopefully help my macros since I'm sure most of the meals they provide will be full of carbs and sugars and probably fat. I've done a search for past topics similar to…

What you know about tajadas con pollo?
I'm thinking of getting this tonight but I have no idea how to log it! It's sliced plantains (machos, as some call them) fried then baked with a small chicken, topped with repollo (cabbage, onion, vinegar). I know there's other spices in there (probably some cumin, peppers, tomato, etc... but I don't really know what. lol)…

I'm starting to think I will never be my goal size...
And you know what?? I'm OK with that! I've had 3 kids. I don't think my hips will ever go back! lol Also, I'm kind of falling in love with my thighs. They may be bigger... they may not have whatever gap people are always talking about... but I can feel the muscles in my legs when I do butt kicks (frikkin Jillian!:grumble:…

Worth the $$ to get a PT?
In your opinion, is it worth it to spend the money on a personal trainer at the gym? I found a PT that actually agrees with women lifting heavy... he could train me once or twice per week, as well as write an exercise plan for the days I work out without him, and a diet plan. It would cost $105 per month if I signed up for…

Thoughts on Insanity?
I did a search for before and after photos... but didn't really find anything. Is that because it doesn't work like they say, or not a lot of people have done it? Good idea or no? Worth the money?

Hey, how about if you don't read someone's diary...
DON'T comment "great job!"... I'm tired of seeing comments of that nature, then I look at the diary and the person only ate 500 calories that day. :noway: Wtf? How the hell is that a good job? STOP encouraging eating disorders! If you aren't going to take the time to at least glance at the diary... just don't comment.…

Protein- 1g/pound or 0.8g/kg?
So, I had been told to get about 1g protein for every pound I weigh... that would be about 110g Then, a PT from the gym said it should be 1g protein for every pound of LBM... that would be about 82g Then someone from here posted that it should be about 0.8g protein for every kg of weight... that would be only 40g …

Lifting and...
Ladies that lift... When you're in a lifting program, do you do anything else? I'm wanting to start a lifting program (Probably Strong Lifts 5x5?) but I don't know if that's all I should do or if I should do 30ds or cardio or something else on my off days... Also, I'm not sure if my gym has a straight free bar (the only…

Well, now I'm just confused. >.<
Yes, I know it's been discussed to death. Sorry, if I am just not catching on. I've been here almost 2 weeks and at first MFP set my calories to 1200 to lose 1 pound per week. My goal is not really to lose weight, per say, but to lose about 3% body fat. I figured the only way to tone up was to cut down on the calories (and…

27 year old mama of 3
Hi everyone. I'm just getting started on my get-in-shape journey... I've always been active with my children... but since having my 3rd baby, I am definitely seeing and feeling the differences from having a baby at 20 and having a baby at 26! It seems way too hard to get this extra fat off of my tummy! I have about 10…
