Fitbit seems to be pretty accurate for me, but I don't "log" exercise in MFP or Fitbit... I just let it adjust my calories on its own.

I eat nuts nearly every day. They are great snacks because they hold me over until the next meal, unlike some snacks that just make me want to snack more. Plus, they help me meet my protein goal. Sweat will keep it from accurately reading your heart rate. If you aren't already, try wearing it a bit more loosely (so it easily moves up and down your arm) and drying it between sets, and see if that helps.
