I've heard about this crazy lady for some months now, and when I finally posted for support, she hit me up. I feel like I'm Crossfit official now, it's like achieving a milestone lol Here was my final response to her after she kept giving me her advice even though she's never even tried it: "I still don't understand your…

I do love the strength gains and just being amazed at the things that my body can do, what I love the most though is the CF community. Everyone is so supportive and helpful, it's really nice to be in that kind of environment.

Your BMR is 2200 and you don't even seem to eat 1500 calories. That's already negative 700 calories, not including your exercise calories. You're definitely not giving your body enough fuel to work with. At minimum, find out what your TDEE is and eat somewhere in between that and your BMR. Also, it's always good to eat…

You are doing wonderful! Congrats on your achievements so far!

This isn't even a question appropriate for this forum. Ask your personal physician.

Good luck on your journey. Just stick the course. There will be ups, there will be downs, but it's all about commitment. Sometimes I need to remind myself that! :) You will do great!

Our teachers are completely undervalued here in America. Just as children are suffering the consequences of strikes temporarily, these teachers have continually suffered the consequences of not being compensated as the people that mold our children.

Just started too, but I feel so much more energy. No more grumbly tummy throughout the day :) Feel free to add me.

Oatmeal! Soooo filling, a half cup of uncooked rolled oats is 150 cals, a cup of unsweetened almond milk is 40 cals, add a little bit of cinnamon and bam, you have a small meal that feels like a full meal. Great way to start the day.

I've only recently upped my calories for about a week now, but I feel so much better! I am 5'1.5 (yes, I count that half an inch lol) I eat between 1600-1800 calories a day. It seems to be working :)

It's pretty normal to be hungry between meals. Your metabolism is revved up. I always carry healthy snacks with me to solve this. My go-to's are almonds, fruits, veggies, string cheese, hummus, etc. Soon you might find yourself eating more small meals throughout the day. Not a bad thing. Enjoy feeding your body good…

What is Nike + like? I have Dance Central 1 and I love it! Such a great way to burn some calories when I don't have time to head over to the gym for a full work out.

When I was little, every time I was sick my mother would force feed me garlic. Since then the smallest hint would make me gag. Just recently as an adult have I begun introducing into my foods...but never large amounts.
