Nothing, or 1tsp sugar and a few drops of pure vanilla extract. Hubby takes 2 tsp sugar, a few drops of vanilla and unsweetened vanilla almond milk.

Are you telling me they're going to have to start testing POKER players for performance enhancing drugs?!?!

Because it's considered taboo I wouldn't wear a white or cream dress to someone else's wedding, let alone several. The point isn't so much your friends, they invited you and I'm sure they'd love to see you at their wedding regardless of what you're wearing, but the point has been made about "the whispers, oh the…

I don't know why it happens but it does, and it shouldn't. I've had calls and texts and random people messaging me, I've had to up my security settings on everything. I received calls from some guy who'd been watching my apartment and found my number listed (that I left with no first name so that they woundn't guess…

Sounds amazing :D

As a Montrealer born and raised I'd say poutine. There are things that look worse, I'm sure, but yeah. Fries slathered in curd cheese and gravy...

I drink it black or with a teaspoon of sugar in an XL mug (15cals) if I'm craving a bit of sweet. Don't usually want the cookies so much after that so I'd say it's a win.

Yep.

Turnip. No, flat out no. I even spat it out as a baby and still can't stand it even when I don't know that's what it is. Evil sneaky vegetable.

So TMI but I was a 34H and 50lbs down I'm a 32G/H, feelin' deflated but hoping with time and resistance training they'll perk back up...as if gravity wasn't already the enemy before. (the weight loss is still way worth it though)

Hey! I found this site through weddingbee too! (lionskitty there too) We've had to push the wedding to April 2014 (hurray immigration process). I've lost 50lbs on here since last spring and have 30+ to go!

If I don't eat enough calories I'm weak and dizzy and grumpy, not always the same day but definitely by the next morning I wake up ravenous! I try to stay between a net of 1200 and my 1lb per week calculation, sometimes I want to go faster but when I try to go lower I stop losing and I'm just miserable (and miserable to be…

Finally! C'mon boys, if the Girl Scouts can do it you can!

I was a regular soda junkie, 4-6 a day, switched to diet and most days drink 1-3. I've lost 48lbs and have gone from a size 18 to a size 10 in jeans since last April, I've obviously made other changes too but after trying and failing over and over to quit drinking pop it's the lesser of the evils for me.
-
It's definitely going to depend. I've lost 46lbs and went from and 18 to a 10 in jeans. I don't know if that helps. :)

Height 5'6" Starting weight (starting MFP) 230lbs Current weight: 186lbs Goal Weight: 145-160...will look at body fat percentage when I get to that range and see how I look/feel. (because of frame&muscle) Age: 27 How many calories you eat a day: net 1200-1500 ETA: I was 251lbs at my heaviest >.< and when I was fit and on…

I've lost 40lbs! Since April! I fit in mini cheats instead of big "cheat days" so I keep my "cheats" within my calorie goal, stay on track and don't feel deprived. You're doing great!

o.O WTF, I'm with everyone else, get a new doc! Wow!

Walking has been working great for me. Add some resistance training, it really helps. As others mentioned, pool excercise will get your cardio in without putting a lot of stress on your joints. Also, anything fun. I like dance-y aerobic classes, I started off maybe getting only 20 minutes in before taking a break but it's…

I bought cheap basics, you'd be surprised what you can get at old navy or walmart. I like the George stuff at walmart, most people can't believe that's where I got it. I was faced with that problem, less than halfway to my goal I was 2 sizes down and couldn't keep my pants up. I got just enough to get through the week :D

I'm getting married in January 2014. I started on MFP before we got engaged but the future wedding and my moving to Miami to be with him and our future lives together and future kids...all big motivators. :)

I find netting 1200-1400 works for me, if I'm still hungry at 1200 I have more, if I'm not I don't! But netting at only 1200 for too many days in a row makes cranky and tired and I stop losing so I vary it a bit between a 1200 minimum and my 1lb per week calorie goal.
-
That's awesome! I'm so close too! Hope to get there before my birthday. You look great!

Regular soda and drastically reduced even "healthy" liquid calories like the skim milk and 100% fruit juices I used to drink a lot, they're not bad for you, but they're calories that add up fast without filling you so it makes staying on a deficit harder. Also cut down even further on things like chips (try light popcorn…

Your BMI is now normal. Your doctor should not be approving extreme calorie deficits! I think focusing on your workouts, getting enough (healthy) food and the visual is more important than the scale now. Congratulations on all your hard work!

Your BMR is what you burn just existing, you burn more than that as a normal sedentary person. For me my starting BMR was something like 1750 but my TDEE without exercise was 2200, you calorie deficit would be much more that 200 in that case. Your doc should know the difference. VLC diets are only recommened while being…
