Great idea of adding bike! On my off days from running I can ride my beach cruiser down to the store and back. Better than sitting on the sofa.

I cook for one as well. I put 3 or 4 chicken breasts in a crockpot with either seasonings/herbs or add a can of rotel tomatoes for flavoring. It cooks all day while I'm at work and then I shred it up when I get home. I then ziplock into serving sizes and keep in the fridge. I use for lunch in a salad or make a wrap. For…

I would like to know also. Last night I marinated 6 pork steaks in a cup of a bottled marinade. I removed all excess and did not use it on the grill. Do you divide the nutritional info for a cup by 6 servings?

I think that may be the problem. I think I cut my calories too drastically plus working out. I'm going to try more veggies today plus more foods with fiber to fill me up longer. I've been with MFP for the last two weeks and get the same message every day. I'm 5'9", 180 lbs and want to lose 40 lbs. I have a desk job. I think when I put my calculations in, MFP came up with 1200 calories which is roughly what I'm eating. But if I exercise, my net goes down to 1000 or below. Should I really be eating…
