For me, the hope will die only with my last breath. So I motivate myself by picturising myself as following 1) getting fitter with every passing day 2) laughing in the faces of my friends who tried (and still do) to demotivate me. Mine is 490 cals (oats, almonds, raisins and a cup of full fat milk). For me 'start big' has worked really well.

I use sun warrior rice protein. Only if you can live with dry card board taste. My experience is not any different from other protein powders I have tried.
