I am always happy to have more friends on here. I have a long journey to undertake, but I am determined to succeed. Too many reasons not to. I am here every day, I am pretty good with my diet, not so with the exercise side, but that is something that I am looking to change. I am happy to motivate, to praise and to make…

I agree with most. I plan my meals (breakfast, lunch and snacks) the night before and log them at that point. I can then decide my dinner based on my exercise, if I dont want to walk or go to the gym, then I have to eat less. I know that it is all a game that I am playing with myself, but whatever works. Weekends I am less…

Great job mate. I am on a very similar journey, bit older, bit bigger, but learnig all the way. Would be grateful for your views on the macro nutrients. I am trying to up my protein levels this week to see where that gets me. Inspiring post. Thanks

I weigh myself on a Monday morning, so I tend to enjoy a "cheat" on Monday night. As with others, I have always logged it. Only been at it 6 weeks, but it appears to be working. Also, it gives me something to look forward to a Monday for

Feel free to add me, 23lbs down, long way to go. I am pretty good with my diet, just starting to change up the exercise

Looking forward to the answers on this one. Can't believe how hard I worked this week for a pound and a half on the scale. Very frustrated.

Spring break with the kids, so more exercise for me too. If nothing else I want to get the dogs out for an hour every day. My diet has been good for 4 or 5 weeks now so I am looking forward to changing the other part of my lifestyle. Also hoping very hard for a scale victory this wee after a very disappointing weigh in…

looks like a great start. Personally, I would add some dumbells in to the mix, using them will aid balance, stability, core and range of movement. You could also do that with some resistance bands, but I prefer old school. If you have space then having 2 bars is good because it saves on so much interchanging of weights I…

I weigh on Monday morning, that way if I have had a bad week, I can use the weekend to hit the gym.......I also use Monday as my cheat day so something to look forward to

Hey fella, No idea what my ideal weight should be (I will find out), but my guess is that I am similar to you. 6'1", so not as tall, currently weighing in at 302, 20 down in the last 5 weeks, but I am a big guy too, wide chest and shoulders, used to lift weights and play rugby. Never sure whether I will need motivation or…

Technically, I have never been 400lbs, but I have struggled with plane seats, been far too big to ride the rollercoaster with my kids and broke a lawn chair at a friends bar-b-q. I come in at 6'1" and 302 lbs (20lbs down from the start). It will be good to check-in with like-minded gents once in a while.

Looking for inspiration and have definitely found some, so thanks. The profile pic is me and my daughter in at Disneyland in the summer, 6'1", currently 302, started at 322 (this time). Used to hit the weights pretty hard, at my best I was around the 275 mark. I need to get back there, but maybe a little old for the heavy…
