Thanks for the advice guys... Yoga, Swimming, Cane... all being put into (or planned) use...

I'll second greek yogurt! I'm kind of shocked how much protein is in it...
-
Yeah, eating will have to be an even higher priority...

Weekdays I aim for under 100. Weekends, I just try to keep it under the MFP recommendation.

This may seem silly, but I say enjoy the hell out of your marks. At the risk of sounding cliche', our bodies are a record of our existence... "That scar is from the heart-surgery I had at fourteen. That one is from the surgery to repair the knee I blew playing basketball. That dent in my thigh is from drunkenly running…

So MFP doesn't adjust sodium because it has less to do with exercise, and more to do with a bit more complicated a calculation? That makes sense... Thanks!
-
EXACTLY, kind of.... If MFP adjusts calories, fat, carbs and protein, based on exercise, why does Sodium always stay at a constant (in my case) 2500? You'd think it'd adjust upwards...

I was with you until the last picture... Because that looks like heaven...

Quinoa stays good for a week or so in the fridge; I just cook a bunch on Sunday's and we eat it throughout the week. Good chili's and whatnot also work, as you can make them in the crockpot on a slower day, and then store for the rest of the week...

I got the Nike arm sleeve holder (the armbands were too lose to play basketball with) and I love it for everything from runs to cross training... your forearm does get a bit sweaty, but I don't think it's a deterrence...

True, but the original point was about leaning up... OP mentioned that she thought Squats would make her quads too bulky, which isn't the case... Endurance and all that is a completely different animal than her first question...
-
Squats... Deadlifts.... Google "Will squats make a woman bulky?", read for a couple hours, then go start doing squats... There are seemingly HUNDREDS (at least dozens) of women on this site who squat, who are the opposite of "bulky"... I have yet to see one woman say that squats didn't give them the "leaner" look they were…

That's awesome! That's a lot of hard work... How much does it usually cost for that service?

First time a good friend of mine played basketball with me we warmed up with some light one-on-one (sub 50% speed), and he had to stop after a couple of points. He started feeling faint and nauseous. On his way home, he had to step off the bus and throw up. That was a little more than a year and a half ago. Now? The guys a…

Oh man, I didn't even think about how awesome that'll be (the license weight thing)... now I'm super excited... Congrats
-
I tried the Up for a bit... My wife had/has the fitbit one, and our steps usually matched up. Occasionally I'd go for 500 steps, count them myself, then check the Up, and it'd be within 5%.

Friend request sent! Also sent to a couple other people on this thread... Also, if anyone else wants someone who's on every day as a friend, feel free to add!

Awesome! Request sent

Oh, they exist... for Example, the Metabolic Extreme 60 Power is the most atrocious thing I have ever tasted... And I have a huge bottle of it, because I am not a very smart person...

Hah! Yes! "Excuse me sir, could you put that 450 lbs of weight you're currently dead lifting down a bit more delicately?" "Eat my balls"
-
Just want to point out that there are certain exercises, like dead lift, that it is literally safer to drop the weight than try to set it down softly and quietly... It does get excessive and annoying, sure, but I always remind myself that it's better to make a loud noise than strain your back...

^This! There's no better feeling than having people begin to recognize you at your gym... And when the staff starts knowing your name automatically... wonderful

Try Almond Butter... It's really pretty damn good on apples, and has some serious vitamin/mineral benefits... a bit higher in calories, which you were looking for...

It depends on what your overall goal is... once you get form down, you'll see a big jump (newbie gains), and then come to a wall. If you're running a calorie deficit, you'll see little to no progress on the weight (it's incredibly difficult to put on more muscle when running a deficit). BUT, you'll be keeping muscle tone…
