I just realized this morning that I have at least 1 and sometimes 2 holiday events every weekend between now and the 1st of January. My plan? Stick to my calorie goals on days that don't involve parties/social events. Walk/workout my usual amount. Be reasonable with my eating at said parties/social events (only eating if I…

I realized this morning that starting this weekend I have at least 1 and sometimes 2 Holiday events every weekend between now and the new year. EVERY year I give up around Thanksgiving and gain 7 lbs. EVERY year. This year I've decided that I'm going to stick to my plan and exercise on days that don't involve a…

Yes! I LOVE Jason's Deli!

Awesome! Thank you for pointing this out. :)

Yes? Lol...I guess that is what they are called. It is basically the adult sized version of a kids bike. :) It doesn't change geers. It goes as fast as I can peddle. :) And I posted it on 2 places because I didn't get a quick response on the first post. :)

I've been taking what MFP says, since I assume that I'm actually burning more since I have to peddle constantly. Guess I'm putting a HRM on my Christmas list. ;)
-
Thank you! That is what I was thinking...but wasn't 100% sure since I don't have a HRM yet.
-
It is so weird though...because I've steadily used the MFP database AND eating back the calories most of the time...and I"ve lost about 1 lb per week on average. I guess...I just need to keep doing what I'm doing and if it stops working...change it up. Putting HRM on Christmas list now. Thanks everyone!
One-shots, with pregenerated characters. One was an epic-level D&D 3.5, one was a 7th level D&D 3.5, one was Star Wars Saga Edition, and the last was a Star Trek scenario using Savage Worlds rules. Good times.
D&D 3.5 and Star Wars Saga edition are my JAMS! lol. I see nothing wrong with this…

We were going to plan our entire Wedding Anniversary Weekend around the 50th Anniversary simulcast, but the we didn't want to go to Atlanta for our Anniversary. (We were just there in September for DragonCon.) We are going on Monday. :)

We eat out a lot, and usually at locally owned places who do not have actual calorie counts or sometimes even websites. lol. :) I try to find calories for similar items from other restaurants and er on the side of logging higher just in case. Or, I ask the server to find out the oz serving size of the protein, and build…

ALL OF THIS!!! I don't recall there being a lot of obese kids when I was little. I recall a few chubby kids, and I was a chubby pre-teen. It makes me sad to see overweight or obese kids because they can't help it. THEY don't get to decide what is for dinner and they definitely aren't being made to play outside. :(

Bwahahahahahhahahaha! LOVE this plan! My plan is: 1 pumpkin struessel pie from Cracker Barrel cut into 16 pieces and consumed over the course of several days. They only have this specific pie available like 2 or 3 days every year. I buy a pie to take and a pie for ME! Thankfully our church is hosting a community…

Pastry Chef's have been around for YEARS. Self Control on the other hand is something that people don't seem to learn anymore. NO it isn't wrong for her to become a Pastry Chef. I eat Pastry. I won't stop eating pastry. I will however choose to eat LESS pastry. Because I CHOOSE to not become obese. Pastry doesn't make one…

First of all, congrats! This is a big accomplishment in my eyes because this is what I want to accomplish after I reach my gw. It sounds to me that you really have learned intuitive eating. :) As someone who has struggled with ED in the past, I understand what an accomplishment this is. :)

This sounds awesome! One of my friends does regular derby, but I'm not that tough. Will have to check out if there is something in my area. :) BTW - LOVE the Doctor tracker!

Yummy!

Yes...I would NOT eat this.
-
Nope. Don't miss it at all. Probably because I still do! lol. I just work it into my calories.

And...great parenting. :) Bet he'll be better next time.
-
And I had exactly 1 fun sized snickers and 5 skittles. :)
-
Um...by sneaking I meant stealing it from your kid's candy bag. (I don't have kids...but I hear that parents do this.) And comments on my relationship with food aren't necessary...since I'm recovered from ana/mia.

This!

Great job! :) Congrats! You're an inspiration.

Tako (raw octopus, I think that is what it is called.) I would eat cooked octopus. But I would prefer to NEVER eat it raw ever again. I couldn't even swallow it. Other than that...I'll eat just about anything. or try anything at least. There are several things that I want to add to the "I would try them once but I'm sure I…
