I haven't dieted since I dabbled in South Beach about 10 years ago. Apparently if I go without carbs I get cranky and punch people. True story. :laugh: I don't DIET. I make better-ish choices and make sure I'm at a deficit every week. (I'm eating peanut M & Ms and skittles instead of the rest of my lunch.)

You can lose weight eating junk from McDonalds and Taco Bell. I eat dinner out several times a week and eat fast food once or twice a week as well. Fruit is completely natural nutrition. Unless you have a medical issue that requires you to limit sugar intake there is no need to limit fruit. The fiber in fruit helps the sugar break down more slowly and besides, fruit is not bad for you. No one ever got fat eating too many mangoes or bananas.

I eat my breakfast in 2 parts. One part right when I get to work, and the next part when I get hungry again. Usually around 10 am. My diary is open if you want to take a look, but I usually go over on something. I find it hard to perfectly stick to macros, but I try to get closest to calories. Actually, some days I go over on fat but under on carbs but the next day it might be opposite.

Same here. Example: local place has amazing Chicken Parm. I've seen chicken parm from Olive Garden and the portions are about the same so I have used the Olive Garden option to count the calories.

Yeah, totally fine! People used to say if you don't eat after 7 pm, 9 pm, etc you'll lose faster. Not true. You lose when you are at a deficit. :) OF COURSE, if you have a heavy meal late at night you should expect to weigh more in the morning. But that doesn't mean you've gained. :)

Sure, it has been slow but I am excited to be below a certain number by 1/2 a lb! not just .2 below. :happy: Hoping to lose at least 1 more before I go on a trip to Chicago first weekend in April.

BUT I agree with OP. I mean...I ate super healthy Ben & Jerry's, Taco Bell, and Godiva chocolate this week and LOST. You can only lose weight eating super uber-duber healthy. A calorie IS NOT just a calorie. :grumble: :noway: :laugh:
