I always wondered that and knew it just didn't make sense. This reminds us that our weight isn't what its all about. We can be 'heavier' and in better shape and fit in smaller size clothes. When I was 150, I too was wearing a size 6 and felt great! I had a treadmill at home that did that to me once! I laughed my *kitten* off for hours! I can only imagine how embarrassing in a gym. Thankfully for me it was just me and my kids who saw me... then again, my kids still tease me! lol

I don't on the main road on the way to the trails I ride; but once I'm in the woods I put in the headphones and crank the music. I have a much better ride when I do.

I would say something to the front desk/management. If your not comfortable saying something while you are there then maybe on your way out that way you will not have to encounter any awkward situations.
