Thanks so much!!

Not sure about that and am having the SAME problem, so no it's not a silly question. Glad you raised it and will keep checking the chain to see what people say. Kind of pointless to save a meal if you just have to add back all the ingredients when you eat it again.... Thanks!

I typically burn between 300-650 calories per workout session. I run, spin, weight train and mountain bike. So my calorie burn depends on what I'm doing for exercise. The most calories I've ever burned per workout has been mountain bike riding. A two hour outdoor ride will get me up to around 1200 calories. Now that the…

THANKS! Do you typically eat all those calories as you would normal cardio calories burned? I'm thinking the answer should be yes, but would like confirmation. Thank you!!

I also have the same issue. I teach a strength training class that's one hour in duration and I wear a HRM that tells me I've burned around 300 cal. What I've been doing is recording my calories burned in the note section of my exercise log, and eating the calories. Since I've only been a member a couple weeks, I'm not…

Best of luck to you ;) I joined last month for similar reasons. Had my daughter two years ago and gained A LOT of weight. I managed to shed all but 10 pounds and have been the same weight for a year, even though I go to the gym religiously. I have lost inches the last year, however. I decided to join the site to get the…

Try asking for an egg white omlet with lots of veggies. You'll get a full plate without all the extra calories. Pair it with a piece of whole wheat toast- YUM!

I also suffer from cramping when running. But I run twice a week for the calorie burn and fitness benefits. I've found that my cramps were caused by running too close to meal/snack times. So, now I go early in the morning before eating any breakfast OR at least 1.5 hours after a light snack. I've found that helps me a…

I have a Polar F6 and I LOVE it. It was a gift, but I believe retail it goes for around $109. I would have bought it myself though because I never work out without it. I also find it keeps me honest because the calorie burn MFP calculates for physical activity is always off from what I really burn. This has helped me with…

Agree with all above posts, especially if your HRM has a strap. It's a more accurate reading of calories burned.

congratulations! you should be so proud of yourself!!

same here. hope it works ;)

My vote is for the camelback. I use mine for both running and biking and I love it!

You can re-set your goal on the site from 'lose 1 pound a week' to 'maintain weight' and it should calculate your target calorie intake.

Your body requires more calories to maintain your weight, than to lose it. So, I tend to think if you upped your caloric intake from 1200 to 1500 you may see a weight gain. I agree with bethaudrey that your hunger could be caused by the foods you're choosing to eat (or not eat).

I did something stupid today, too. I just started on the site this week and was doing so well. Decided to go to the cafeteria and get a salad for lunch...700 calories later I'm wondering why I decided to add gorganzola cheese and slivered almonds to it! I ended up going over (taking into consideration my dinner later…

Choose 'Bicycling Stationary' from the drop down and the level of intensity most inline with the exercise. A word to the wise, this site tends to over-estimate calorie burn. I use a Polar HRM and just type over the calories the site pre-populates to make it more accurate. You may want to consider getting a HRM to monitor…

I am large chested and have no problems with my chest strap for my HRM. I put the strap right above the elastic band in my sports bra so that it stays in place. I can't even feel it at all. I use the Polar F4 and I LOVE it!

I have the same Polar model HRM and I LOVE it!
