  • What a week! I've been so tired and ravenously hungry this week. Not a good week for increased hunger, decreased energy, and bloating! I'm trying to get this final week done and finish strong but nature is working against me!! My points tracking has been awful. With my Aunt's death the week before last and having to…

  • I never thought that this close to goal I would still be finding things that I don't see the change in. I've heard before about not being able to see the changes in yourself but I didn't think that would be me. So thankfully I have this challenge that has me to actually look for and see the changes. I've posted before…

  • Sorry for my silence. As I was working out yesterday, I got a call that my grandfather's baby sister had just passed away. She went in to have a surgery for an aneurism (this is just what I've heard) she began having seizures and then a stroke and didn't respond after. This is absolutely my favorite great-aunt. I used to…
  • I do this. This is how I knocked the cobwebs off of my coffee pot. I can have a 12oz coffee with sugar and non dairy creamer for 65 calories and it lasts longer than a cookie. So I get sweet and filling.
  • Wow! @Ali- you are strong enough and I totally understand that perfectionist attitude. I deal with it too and sometimes I have to rein it in and control it and not let it control me. Life is stressful, but it's how we choose to deal with the stress that determines what effect it has on us. You have been a rock this entire…
  • Re: Messing up a little and then giving up because of it. I started here on MFP in March 2012. I was so excited about losing weight and I love to read the success stories of how people had lost so much weight in so little time. Well, it didn't happen for me that way. I looked back on all of my past attempts at losing…
  • Exactly!!!! Oh  I'll just be happy!!
  • I'm a little confused as to what to do. So still not believing the scale this morning I had my kids to step on and see if it was accurate for them. Then I put two 5 lb. hand weights on the scale by themselves. Guess what it said...10.0. So the scale is right? And I really did weigh in @171? I don't know what to think, do,…
  • Ok. So a funny thing happened on the scale this morning. I stepped on and got a reading of 171.6! Uh.....hello? So I stepped off and on, and off and on, changed the batteries, off and on, and still got the same reading. I moved the scale to a different floor, stepped on with weights and off and on again...same reading. So…
  • @ Ali- yeah I saw that with the other teams and the EMs. That's quite excessive. I knew that this was an area I could help the team out on since I don't work. So I just took out my step and for 5 minutes just stepped as I watched TV. One positive from the EM challenge this week, for the first time I actually walked around…
  • Friday 31 min, 203 cals Leslie 15 mins HIIT 5 mins stretching done 0 reps, 0 situps 25 mins EM walking around neighborhood= 25 points
  • @ Pam- yes with the water retention. Especially if you are doing a workout that is going to make you sore. I would stick to something light like walking (slow walking, no hills. Maybe a Leslie walk?). @ team leaders- for Thu my stats should be 20 on the situps and 0 for new reps. Thanks!
