Exactly, if they could afford it a lot of people would do a lot of preventive procedures but they couldn't. In her case I think she did coz she could afford and she did come out with it because being a celebrity its better that way instead of the press finding it later. Nothing to applaud here, IMO.

I bought Omron HR-100C Heart Rate Monitor on Amazon for $35 in Aug 2012 and have no regrets. Its a good beginner level HRM with chest strap. My gym uses lifefitness equipments and they come in close to MFP calculations. May be becuase they require weight input a lotta times they come in surprisingly close. But if you suspect they are off by a fair amount then HRM is the best method to calcualte. @EdDavenpor thanks for posting about Polar FT60

Carbs are essential for normal body functioning, especially for your brain. If I cut too much on carbs I could feel the diff right away. I try to keep it at around 50%.
