I'm 5'4" with a large frame. Current weight is 152, looking to get below 145, but above 140.

I missed mine when I started running. It's not uncommon when you lose alot of weight. It could also mean you need to slow down a little. I recently got a knee injury so I'm expecting it back any day now.

I get odd reading when I don't wash my strap regularly.

Thank you!

Congratulation! I'm working on a 10k right now and hopefully a half sometime after I get comfortable at that level.

I usually miss my protein mark set by MFP (113g 25%) by 30 to 50 grams every day. This is part of the reason why I ask.

I have an HRM, and agree that although it is not a necessity, it has tremedous value. Same as good running shoes. I know I need to lift weights, I just hate doing it. lol. But I'll try to work it in slowly until I find a routine I like. Thanks for your responses.

You can make your own soda, then you know exactly what's in it.

I was going to say the same thing. I was probably the sodium in the sandwich. Even the healthiest sandwiches have alot of sodium.

I eat back some of my exercise calories, but not all of them. I recently got an HRM and am learning that although I'm in relatively great shape my heart beats fast, therefore I burn ALOT of calories. It takes alot of eating for me to eat them all back.

I was in the Air Force but my sister joined the Army at the same time as I did. THis was about 4 years ago, but in the summer they seem to have a surge of new recruits. From the day she saw the recruiter to the day she went to basic training was only about a week and a half to 2 weeks max. They even shortened basic…

When I have a cheat meal I log it as accurately as possible. I don't try to stay under my calorie limit for the day and I don't try to make it up throughout the week. It's my cheat meal and I try to enjoy it and not get too hung up on it. But with that being said, I'm very close to my goal and am trying not to get hung up…

Love, love, love body hair on guys. Don't do it!!!!!!!

Congratulations! I'm training for one now. Super nervous, but I'll get there.

I used to. But I reminded myself that when I go to the gym, I'm not looking around internally commenting on others. It's unlikely others are doing that too. Most people just want to workout and go home. Now I don't worry about it so much.

Chipotle is pretty good. You can pick and choose what you want and they post the calories right there on the menu.

Boobs and hips. Fortunately, I love the current size of both.

HI!!! I definitely understand what you are going through. I'm in the Central Texas Area (Killeen/Fort Hood) but am moving to San Antonio in the coming months. The humidity is brutal down there.

I like to do intervals on the treadmill with a slight incline (.5-1.0). I prefer intervals on the treadmill because it makes it harder to slow down when you start to feel fatigued. Outside, I find myself running the sprints slower and slower. The treadmill prevents that.

I love a hairy man as well, but I probably wouldnt even notice if you shaved your arms.

The theory is that some foods burn more calories being digested than they have in them, therefore they are zero calorie/negative calorie food. But it's more of a theory, I don't know if there is any validity to it.

I used to get the same thing. I did two things. I made sure I was breathing deeper while I was running. I noticed I was taking short choppy breathes and that helped. I also started drinking more water. Hope that helps. And your gait is the way you run.

Step Mill is BRUTAL. I love that thing, but I feel like I need an HRM when I'm on it. I'm definitely burning more than the machine is telling me. I'm sweating and panting after 15 minutes.

Amen to that!
