I absolutely agree!!! My husband and I met online..... he now weighs over 7 stone less then the day we married.... I love him more and more each day. I fell in love with his personality online first well before I met him. Looks mean nothing if you're still an idiot, or selfish or have no manners. He is funny, has a good…

I have lost over 24lbs since 3rd Jan.... with no real goal in terms of total loss or deadline!!! It's more about maintaining a healthy diet and increasing activity levels for me...... and how I feel in my clothes!!! We need to do what's right for us as individuals!!! :-)

5'8" with an ultimate goal of being waaayy less than I am now!!!! Most literature indicates 140, but I know I was very toned and lean at 155.... with others saying I had lost too much..... so 160 is a sensible "refocus" point I think for me personally.
-

I'm sure in the UK that Social Services would have been called to take poor Jacqueline away!!!! I did not that it said she was single even thought the father of the child was "only 10st" and "supported her" eating habits...... he may well be a single parent himself when the mother of his child passes away because of a…

Congratulations!!!! My husband just said "is that a different person??!!! He has 150lbs to lose and I have 85lbs for us to get to a healthy BMI..... I may save my wedding dress for a similar photo shoot!!!!
-
I'm doing that ...... but not deliberately!!!!! I have lower daily calories to begin with (1270) based on MFP, but have a very chaotic lifestyle as well as having an extremely underactive thyroid so this works well... I'm sure I'm meant to find it harder than I have been
-
I had to look at the webpage.... Oh my goodness me!!!!! At least they DID keep suggesting that you share it..... as it's 25 times bigger than a regular!!!! :noway: lol
-
I think I'd have stopped after about 6lbs if it wasn't for MFP........ 7 weeks on here and 14lbs..... I'm happy with that, a sensible pace and you are more likely to maintain the loss after. I have learnt so much about food, our body's chemistry and myself since being on here. I know that if I am planning a "worse" day, I…

Thanks to all you and I couldn't agree more..... I love seeing the weights I can lift increasing over time, and can FEEL my gym effort later cos my muscles tell me!! It almost scares me not to mix between cardio and weight as although I REALLY want to lose weight, the last thing I want is to be saggy!!! :noway:…

GOOD!!!!!! I totally agree with KnightOfGod.... your partner should love you for being you!!! I truly believe that the only way that the challenge of losing weight works is when you choose to do it for yourself and your own reasons  And from what you've written.... I think you are in the right place! Good…
-
Ditto to all the above..... Your food diary is closed other than to friends- but you do need to make sure you eat ENOUGH calories as previously stated..... you will learn SOOOOOOOooooooo much from reading the forums on here!!!! Again, a loss is a loss..... this can be a long and slow journey, but less than 2lbs a week is a…

I've used dried soya to make chilli for about 15 years!!!! We add a little marmite to some boiling water to add a bit of flavour together with the soya, leave to expand for a few minutes then drain. Add to a saucepan chopped tomatoes, chilli powder, kidney beans and honey (add mushrooms too if you like them) then add the…
