I understand completely. I switched from a plain ol' $15 scale to a FitBit WiFi scale when I bought my FB, and boy was I in for a shock the first time I stepped on it. It was hard to get over, but now that I'm back on track, I feel OK about it. At least I know what the reality was, rather than being mislead all of the time…

I'm lucky enough to only be on .50 mcgs a day since November, but I still suffer the same. I'd love some more friends who are in the same boat. Feel free to add me!

thank you for your story, it's incredibly inspiring for me. i'm aware slow and steady will win the race, though it's tough not to want to drop chop off an arm or leg to lose 20-30 pounds instantly. lol thanks for the encouragement!

My FitBit username is the same as it is on here ... erinfaaaaace Feel free to add me. I love adding users who are just as active (or more!) than I am. Makes it worth putting the thing on every day!

I'll definitely try moving it to a hiding spot. Thanks!

"They" (who is "they" anyway?) say you shouldn't because your weight can fluctuate throughout the week, between water weight, TOM, etc.

I am (now) on every day, with the occasional missed meal because it's a cheat day. Please feel free to add me here and if you have a FitBit, there as well. Good luck to you! :)

Although my fiance doesn't really need to lose much weight (10 pounds, and it's for cardiac reasons), I try to encourage him to go with me to the gym or out for walks when I go. I definitely find it much easier to keep going with him by my side, even though we're both listening to our iPods and pretty much ignoring each…

I, like you, also felt very akward when going to the gym the first time. Not only did I hate the way I looked between the sweat and the red face ... but I didn't even know what half of the machines did, or how to even climb on them! Now THAT was embarassing. Since then, I just pony up to whatever I want to do and focus on…

thank you! you too!

Hi all! I'm 5'0" with approximately 90 lbs to lose. I'm desperately seeking motivation to stay on track, I'd like to lose as much as possible before my wedding on April 26th. If anyone has any eating or fitness tips, throw them my way! You can also friend me on here or If you use FitBit, under the same user name. Good luck…

Definitey add me! Good luck to you, you're already on your way :)

I have incredibly similar start points and goals, so on that note: WAY TO FREAKING GO! You are an inspiration for me, as I am getting married in April and desperately want to lose at least 45 pounds before getting there. Seeing your progress is super inspiring.
