  • BSN Syntha 6 protein powder (vanilla ice cream flavor) + orange juice = orange julius. Yumsters!!
  • I'm not a big water drinker, I do put lemons on my water to help with the taste and the lemons are supposed to make the water more alkaline which is better for you.
  • Can I join in??!! I have the app downloaded on my Itouch and started W1D1 several times and can't seem to stay motivated to go past that. I suck!! LOL I'm all for trying again though!!
  • I've heard a lot of good things about Hammer Gel

  • I love my PolarF4 but would recommend getting a PolarF6 or better. The F4 doesn't calculate the distance I walk.run/jog. F6 and above I believe will do that.
  • Love my George Foreman as well!! We use ours almost everyday. My favorite is grilled tilapia then put it in a wrap topped w/alfafa sprouts. Yumsters!
  • I have to admit that I don't care for much veggies as well and thanks to me my 15 and 8yo hate veggies too. I know I need to force myself into cooking/eating it.
  • Update....got my 2nd Mirena put in about a month ago as I previously posted. Not sure if every Dr. does this but a month after, I have to go back in and have an ultrasound to check on it. I went back in and had a vaginal ultrasound, Mirena is perfect, ovaries are perfect and uterus is perfect...woohoo!!

  • The first day of the first time I had it put in I did have cramps and took some motrin and laid down but nothing major. I thought it was going to happen again when I had it replaced 5 years lady and purposely scheduled my appointment on a Friday. To my surprise I didn't experience any cramps at all

  • and I go get my TOM every month which is very very light and I'm OK with this. I must be old school because I don't feel normal not getting one. When I do get it it's a confirmation that my Mirena hasn't failed LOL

  • Another Mirena user here and LOVING every minute of it!! I've heard bad things about the copper one (can't confirm any of it since I've never had one) and opted for the Mirena, going on 6 years and my 2nd Mirena I don't regret it at all!
  • You should find another doctor then, there are doctors out there that WILL give you an IUD and you have no kids. It also depends on age, they're more reluctant to do it when you're young.
  • I got my first one 5 years ago and changed it last month, now on my 2nd one. My "baby" is 8 years old so it's working in that department LOL but I have not had any issues with weight gain. I do have to say though I haven't had issues with weight gain and other BC methods either. Sorry I couldn't be much help there.

  • Why didn't I think of this!! I used to do it when my kids were babies and they transitioned from water to juice. I'm going to try this only because I've never seen a cake supply store where I live in Miami and I don't care for peppermint LOL
  • I have this issue as well. I have measuring cups and spoons but want to buy an electronic scale. I'm assuming that all liquids are measured in the cups and spoons and food itself it measure on the scale? I know 8oz (1 cup) of milk in a measuring cup is not the same as 8oz (1/2 lb) chicken on a scale, correct? I feel so…
  • My understanding is that it works just like the HRM and you would not have to wear both

  • The sleep tracker is what is selling me on this product as well, I can't wait to get one!

  • I've been reading up on this device for a long time, read some reviews in the beginning where there were "bugs" in the system and they were going to fix that. I'm glad to see those who have purchased them are happy so far.

  • How does it track distance? I'm asking because the Itouch I have is an older version and doesn't have GPS like the new 3G ones. Without that feature in my Itouch I can't track distance but would love to.
  • Ah! Ok I did see that after I posted. I am proud to report I started W1D1 last night, the Itouch app is so so so awesome!! I thought I was going to die but I finished LOL. Polar F4 HRM says I burned 252 calories in the 31 minutes.
  • I see the 6 pack!! and you took the pic in your boxers hehe
  • I've heard the same thing that having an apple in the morning is healthier and gives you more energy than a cup of coffee
  • When researching, this is the Couch to 5K schedule I found that W1D1 is 5 minutes walk, 2 minutes jog and 5 minutes which is 12 minutes, am I missing something with the 20 minutes on W1D1 previously mentioned??
  • I am in the same boat!! I'll start with you, I'm starting today and will also do tues/thurs/saturday. I DL'd the app to my Itouch and excited to get started. Not sure about the answer to your question, hopefully someone can help us.
  • I would like to join you all if that's ok, I peeked at the Cto5k website yesterday but felt overwhelmed with the mountains of information, ads, and links all over the screen. I do have an Ipod touch but it's the very first one that came out (before the first Iphone was on there). I'm going to see if it has the app store on…
  • I have not done kickboxing but I have done boxing, I wear my polar HRM chest strap and then put the watch on my shirt sleeve or around the laces in my sneakers, ankle, something, or I just put it in my pocket.
  • That's awesome! Glad you found what works for YOU! Sometimes we just need one on one individual attention to our specific needs. I've heard so many different things when it comes to nutrition and exercise.
  • Finished the detox & cleanse and can't say I feel a change or notice a thing, seems kinda like a waste of money *shrug* I'm now doing the week of probiotic, just because, it recommends it after the cleanse.
  • From what I have read the body can't process 25-30g per sitting. Another rule I've read is 1 gram per pound of bodyweight. I weigh 110lbs divided by 5 meals = 22g per pound of bodyweight
  • Yes I feel that way all the time, I'm going to retry (for the millionth time) walking/jogging on a regular basis again
