Are you ladies aware that there's a Polar sports bra available to put the strap through? Here: http://www.amazon.com/Polar-Heart-Bra/dp/B000GK61L6 I'm wondering if any of you all have one and if you do do you like it? It seems like the strap is not technically touching the skin and I know the instructions say to moisten…

Become your biggest cheerleader
I just wanted to share something I came across that was very inspiring to me (since I feel crappy about all the junk I ate over the holidays) and maybe can/will inspire others when we are feeling down Of all the communication you do, none is more important than how you talk to yourself. Your internal dialogue has more to…

Frozen veggies
I have in my freezer right now a bag of frozen brocolli florets, cauliflower florets and zucchini. I'm not a big vegetable eater and consequently neither are my kids :brokenheart: What can I do with them or how can I cook them and "spice" them up a bit to add flavor. I'd like to use them throughout the week with different…

How do your track distance?
I have a Polar F4 HRM and as far as I know there's no way to track distance on that HRM. Now I was talking to a friend at church and she has a chip that she puts in her shoe and an application on her Iphone (I have an Iphone too) that tracks the distance. I have to ask her about that but was wondering how everyone else…

Sometimes I get discouraged from logging my food in since some of the things I eat I don't know how to log. For example, we have potlucks once a month at work. Everyone will bring in a dish. How can I log that if I want to sample a few things. My issue is logging in homemade foods. Or going to a family members house for…

Anyone try it? What kind? What did you think of it? Believe stuff can back up in your colon for years or is it all a money making scam? I know there's a TON of articles and the controversy on whether or not you should do it. Not really interested in posted links or copy/pasted articles from the web. Just wanted to know if…

How to keep apples from turning brown
I'd love to cut up my apples and bring them to work with me however, I hate eating them when they are brown. This is also the reason why my daughter will not take apples to school. I know you can squeeze lemon on them but I don't like the taste of lemony apples LOL. Any other suggestions?
