Does anyone upload info to their computer off the Polar HRM using the uplink software? I downloaded the uplink tool, followed the instructions. It says the information tranferred successfully but I don't see anything else. I thought it's supposed to be able to track your progress somehow. I have the Polar F4.

  • Once you have uploaded the information you need to login to your online Polar Account where you can then view your diary! I hope that helps : )

Online Polar Account?? The information I googled and the information in the manual is very vague. Unless I'm just dumb and not understanding

    Go to https://www.polarpersonaltrainer.com/index.ftl?ses=unauth

Click on "Register". You will create a user id and be sent a password. If I remember correctly you then register your HRM somehow...maybe by serial #, but I could be wrong.

Once you have created an identity and been sent your password, log into the website. You will then see 3 headers: "News" "Challenge Status" and "Training Programs". Assuming that you used "Polar Weblink" to upload your data, under the "News" header it will say "New training results transferred to your diary". Click on that link and it will take you to a calendar that shows all the information transferred from your watch.

I hope that makes sense : ) If you need more help just let me know : )

Went to the link and registered, then went into the help section and found this:

    You can transfer data via SonicLink or IR communication. Polar WebLink is compatible with the following Polar products: AXN500, AXN700, CS200, CS300, CS400, CS600, F6, F7, F11, F55, RS200, RS400, RS800, RS800CX, S410, S510, S520, S610, S610i, S625X, S710, S710i, S720i, S725, S725X, S810 and S810i.

Apparently my F4 doesn't work with this program
  • I'm sorry :( I knew when I purchase my F6 that there were several features it has that the F4 doesn't but I didn't know that was one of them :(

That's ok, it's not your fault  I think I can manually enter the numbers in instead of it transmitting from the HRM. No biggie :drinker:
